How to know? it is 2 photon or one photon absorption? For powder sample which way we will get good result? With the liquid form or making a film on glass substrate?

12 years ago. PbS and PbSe would have very strong resonance in the reddish orange to near IR bands. (580 to about 2000nm wavelengths) Also they would be reasonably air stable as well.❤

When you understand the science behind this you really appreciate how amazing and versatile the software is at modelling and fitting the optical parameters and thickness of almost any thin film sample you can throw at it

I actually was accused of industrial espionage when as a 17 high school student when we actually toured a major pharmaceutical facility in my town. We were taken to the corporate library where they actually had books on NMR and I had been fascinated with the idea since reading an article in Scientific American actually published in 1959. I was so into reading those books the class actually left me behind for an hour before security actually came and questioned me about my interest. That was 55 years ago but the subject still resonates with me.

Hi! Example; If I have an old chip that no longer exists anywhere even on the internet to buy, can I reproduce that chip with E-beam lithography? Or recover it? Or can I not? First you have to decapsulate that chip and then you take the chip's DIE and insert it into the lithography machine? and is that ok?

Naw just mini crystals of lead sulfide that are so small they act like antennas for light.😁🤓

No, it is simply a method of making florescent crystals with a very precise emission band. Can use almost anything to make these so long as it have a discrete band gap of voltage, for example GaN would make UV to green, PbSe would glow in the near infrared, this version would glow mostly yellow-orange at the particle size chosen.❤
