  This error message comes when you are aggregate value is mixed with non aggregate value. Try using Attr() function for non aggregate value.

  Please try saving the image you wanna use as shape in the Tableau Repository under shapes folder. Once you do that then tableau desktop will automatically pick it up from there. Hope that helps

  Fantastic video as always - One question, when I use this in my data set for a 4 month period - Jan-Apr and I swapped the x and y axis , Apr shows left and Jan shows right. How do I fix this ? I swapped the view as I prefer the vertical view instead of the horizontal one

  It must be something to do with x axis and y axis values.. as when you sway the axis, it might have rotated it clockwise. Please try and work with x axis values and try to switch them . It should work. Please let me know in case of any issues. Hope that helps

  True option will come if in the calculation the condition is met. Try changing the value in the parameter and try again. Hope that helps. Please feel free to reach out if you need more information. Thanks

  Thanks for your feedback. There is defaut sorting option available as well. This is a different way to do dynamic sorting in tableau.

  You can do that by sorting in tableau calculation in a particular order. You can also do that by bringing calculated field in the table calculation. Please try that and let me know incase of any issue.

  Its the Profit ratio measure which need not to add up to 100%. It may vary based on the profit made in each region. Hope that helps

  Hi, glad you made this video and all the informative comments and replies on this video. I had a question too, please do reply- I had a requirement to embed a dashboard into our own company's website and i had created a dashboard in Tableau-cloud but as you said anyone in public internet cant see that. i will choose tableau public for this but how can i connect tableau public with some databases/aws, as i see there are not much connectors available in Tableau-Public just G drive and a "O Data" please suggest me. I was thinking of setting the backend data in Postgre.

  Tableau Public doesnt have much data connector options. The best way id to use static excel data which you can update every now an then. In tableau 2022 conference they talked about Broadcast option where you can broadcast your dashboard to public. Please check that with your tableau account manager if that option is stilll available? I will investigate as well and will let you know if i find something on that.

  Hi! Thanks for the nice explanation! I have a question tho. If i understand it all correctly, i am now sorting on the total value of the sales. However, in my case, i am building a bigger dendogram, where the layers further in the tree are based on different criteria, so meaning in 1 layer of the diagram, i need different sheets for the branches of the previous layer. Because of this, i need to be able to sort the branches so the dont switch around once the values are in a different order. How would i need to change that? Hope my question is clear :)

  Great video! I have one of these with a slider for the date - is there a way to convert the numbers in the axis to go back to mmm-yy field so its congruent with the slider... otherwise the number just keeps going up when they look at more than 12 months.

  This is wonderful video, thank you so much for this. But doesnt that hidden sheet create problem during tab navigation?. I am trying to build an accesible Dashboard and I am integrating Tab focus as a part of it. Leaving the "Hide sheet" will make the Tab to focus on it. Is there a workaround we can do to not include "Hide sheet". I know it is needed to include all values in extension, but if there is a workaround it will be helpful for my Dashboard design.

  Hi, I enjoy watching your videos and seeing how your dashboards evolve. I have been following this video to incorporate it into my dashboard but have had no success. I get to a certain point in the video where you drag the path(bins) from the rows to the details in the marks card, and in your video, you get many dots, when I do that my visual does not change and I just have a single dot. I have gone through your video 4 times and can not find where I have gone wrong, now I'm thinking it may be my data. Is there any advice you can provide me regarding this?

  that's great but whenever i use it in the dashboard i got 2 shown values one on the top point of the gauge and one at the center point of the gauge. how can i solve this in order to see just the value at the top point of the gauge?
