The Selecter are led by their iconic frontwoman Pauline Black OBE and co-fronted by original member Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson with original drummer Charley ‘Aitch’ Bembridge.
It’s been 43 years since the release of their seminal debut album Too Much Pressure and while it still inspires and resonates today, The Selecter’s new studio album Human Algebra keeps that fire burning
First single is title track Human Algebra - out now with an official video. The song is about the complexity of human interactions in society result in real life consequences. It portrays the aftermath of a young man’s senseless death due to the current scourge of knife crime.
Still wowing audience with their incendiary live show across the globe, The Selecter venture out once more with a handful of unmissable dates across Europe in April and May. As well as festival appearances, they have also recently been announced as special guests with Paul Weller for BLUR at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 09 July.
