    Well, its made out of the pig iron like most of the,, top security,, padlocks from China, which is very soft material. Double locking ball bearings made out of harder but not hardened steel. The bible and the core are made of ZnCu39 brass and sidebar is from steel.,, Smiley,, lock types always have the sidebar cause there is no room for driver pins, so the key pins have large serration each on diferent place so when you insert the key all serrations are aligned and the sidebar moves into that serrations so the core is released from the bible and the lock opens. Actuator is made out of the same kind of brass with steel retention spring around it. Shackle spring is also made out of steel but not coated with chrome. The body finish is made of satin chrome. Shackle isnt hardened.

    Well, not in a pure radical way but he started recording shorts with wack n smack so i had to establish some borders between locksport and violent physical atack. Also, the MTL smacking is just pure fake for who knows what reason. Probably all that is about advertising the CI but in some conceptual military style way.

    In the West, we call this a "bump key". Most "bump keys" run on a battery to vibrate rapidly. На Западу ово називамо „кључ са ударцем“. Већина „тастера“ ради на батерији да би брзо вибрирала.

    How do you tell the Chinese made Bane from the Serbian made one? And what is the difference with the Bane + ?

  • @EncyclopediaCatanica
    @EncyclopediaCatanicaАй бұрын

    Interesting question,im planing to make a video about the hisory of the Bane brass line locks with all details and explanation.In short ,when you compare older Bane lock with Chinese made one,the difference is huge,in terms of picking also,bad finish,badly made keys,in Chinese Banes always poor bittings of the keys,you could buy them by the thousands and bittings will be poor,poor tolerances too.Bane stoped produceing 8771,8871 lines when Covid occured.Now they are ordering from China .To be honest ,its idiotic move cause Bane in Yugoslavia and Serbia was a kind of tradition,everyone knew about it,everyone relied on those padlocks and now ,tradition is dead.

    Yap, LPLs asistant in CI. But MTL slam is fake for sure. He put a weak spring and did it but in reality the spring is much stronger. That striking method goes only for Master, all springed locking pawl chinese locks and maybe basic security brass models from around the world but not all.

    Well, not when it has balls. That kinetic atacks are preety questionable cause i tried it with many locks i have and only Master and Chinese locks without ball bearings could be defeated in that way. Off course MTL couldnt except if you put weak spring inside in order to gain more wiews and sell more picking tools.
