  Visited there twice while in London, it is a bit of a hike by train from central London as it is on the North circular. Good breakfasts served and seating is communal so easy to start a conversation. First time I was on a pub crawl in December so not many bikes there, but there was some type WW2 motor vehicle confab. Second time I was with my wife and daughters and they enjoyed it.

  My first time to the Calne bike show, arrived about 1pm and had a long walk around BUT when we got back to the bikes mine was gone ( full custom Harley with tigers on the tank). Totally gutted

  My grandfather known, in 1930's racing circles, as "Goldflake" was race/development engineer for Rudge ('20's and '30's). He died years before I was born so I never knew him or had a had an opportunity to talk with him of his interesting life. In the family is a gold cigarette case given to him from Graham Walker and inscribed "... to my friend Goldflake. So cool to see a bike that he would have known and worked on. Thank you for sharing.
