  Hi. Was that potting mix or manure that you were adding after the soil & sand mix? Is perlite okay to use too? It looks like you have it in a part sun location and that is what I have with only 2-3 hours of direct midday sun and dappled sun in the morning and late afternoon.

  Thank you, this is beautiful. I get conflicting information about whether to keep them in the sun or shade. I watched a video of a man who has literally thousands of bromeliads in Penang and he says they need the sun. Maybe some do and some don’t?

  I never saw you water or mist the soil. Did you not mist or water until after a month when you repotted? I had a tiny stainless sample of this I potted. Couldn't get an ID on it since it was so small. After 3 weeks I pulled it up to check for roots, which weren't there, and all the leaves fell apart. They were so thin. I stuck them back in the soil but don't expect anything since there wasn't a stem. Never give up til it's deader than dead..😊

  Seaweed or fish emulsion is very effective. I also get good results with comfrey tea.

  1.What did you put on the bottom. 2. What soil mix are you using. 3. What did you put on the soil before putting the offsets in the pot. 4. What did you use on top. 5. How many times do you water. Please help i have yet to be successful at getting my offsets to root.
