Did you ever film Middletown City Hall? It has a KONE mod and I'm trying to figure out what the previous mod was on it. I think it was General traction from the 50's originally
Sadly I've never been but I've seen a video of it! Definitely an interesting one, General seems pretty likely
@@jaemre288 Was that video of the KONE mod, or an earlier one? I can't seem to find any other videos of this one
Rides really well for a Schindler
Hit the alarm and phone button before you leave the elevator
I didn’t want you to get stuck

Nice great day another interesting upload us i look.thanks for sharing keep safe, thumpup👍👍👍❤
Eden Prairie is a Southwestern suburb of Minneapolis.
Your video was uploaded almost exactly ten years since my video! Glas to see this elevator is still holding up well.
Can't believe it's been that long! It's still in good shape all these years later!
These elevators remind me of the Schindler glass elevator in the Nordstrom wing of WestFarms that I filmed a couple weeks ago!
@@SchindlerDucy Both malls were built by the same company!
I remember riding those elevators at the MacArthur Centeralmost 2 years ago, it was so amazing and I enjoyed it.
Nice great sharing video good job Idol ✅❤❤

Nice looking good, great sharing video good job ❤❤❤
Dude, Frankenmuth is a nice town there By the way, did you happen to film the GEN2s at the holiday Inn
I did not sadly. It's a very cool town!!
@@jaemre288 Yes it is
@@jaemre288 I've been there before
@jaemre288 Also, did you know that there is an Otis series 1 somewhere in the same place
@@bryanschlippjr4894 Yes I did see it!
I dunno why but I love the look of this place. It screams dead mall
Same here! This is one of the cooler dead malls I've been to
@@jaemre288 I see that you've gone WAY beyond CT in terms of malls... Do you explore retail and malls in general, or do you grab these on other trips?
@VernonElevator I've gotten pretty into exploring malls as over the past few years I find them very cool. This trip in particular I did mainly to see Lakeside Mall before it closed.
Wow amazing great sharing video good job Idol, have a wonderful day ❤❤❤
Nice great sharing video good job Idol ✅👏👍❤❤❤
I should film it in the future.

nice motor
Sears much?
I thought the same lol
This is not just a Westy with another call station but also the only non-Monty elevator at the mall besides Christ Fellowship (a Montgomery Kone Series 220).
@@lenaa2003 Very cool! Have you gotten a video of the Christ Fellowship? I was curious as it's an old Dillard's
Eventually I will, because one of my family friends goes to church there. Anyway, my mom and sister were at this mall yesterday: they found the Macy’s has no AC and were able to find affordable shoes at Dillard’s Clearance (which it has since 2011, while the other of their two is now Christ Fellowship).
Dillard’s Clearance has a Montgomery like this (although for employees only) and I did not get into trouble for riding it.
I remembered Lord & Taylor had an elevator in the Holyoke Mall from 1994-2004.
Nice video of the day.❤🎉. 0:15 .
if ridden this before, this is slow going down, but fast going up.
awesome elevators 😊👍👍
awesome TK/Dover elevators
Oh I remember that yellow claw machine outside the elevator on the 2nd floor but the new one they put in there actually looks better
I just filmed this elevator - will be posted on Friday July 5 at noon!
nice motor 👍👍😊 is floor 3 locked?
I believe it was locked
I believe it was locked
@@jaemre288 Ah. I see.
nice elevator and awesome motor 😊👍👍
Nice big elevator
I’m glad you were able to show the neon elevator signs on camera. They don’t make them like this anymore.
Nice elevator and awesome video. 👍👍😊
Epic motor on a Schindler MT!
0:19 0:20 epic motor!!
Nice elevators and awesome video. 👍👍😊 Doors are a little noisy though.
This is my childhood elevator it’s still original and the controller is original as of 2024
Really enjoyed the video, I live in Australia but was born in the U.S. from ages 9-12 1965-1967 I lived two streets way from Corbin's Corners and spent many a day running around there.
That's awesome! You've probably seen this store quite a few times! The Sears still exists it's since been subdivided into a few new stores.
@@jaemre288 One Sunday about five of us climbed over the very high fence (Sears had an outdoor pool section then and we went to swim in the pools the water was not clean). Sears was closed on Sunday in those days. The police came ( and I swear this is true) we all climbed up on the roof and scurried away. I'm now 68 and have a fear of heights. LOL . In winter behind Corbin's Corners the snow ploughs would push the snow into these huge snow drifts and we would build snow forts and hide and throw snowballs at cars in the back parking lot. We were always hanging around there. We had so much fun. Great memories!!!!
@@johnleary7536 Sounds like you all had a lot of fun over there! Must've been fun climbing up to that roof, it couldn't have been easy! Always love to hear stories from around here. Thanks for sharing!
That's odd, I found a build date of 1975 for this one. Where did you find your date? (so I can update mine if needed)
On the Rocky Hill town building records it says 1973, but I'm not sure how accurate that is
@@jaemre288 Ahh. On Loopnet it said 75, but sometimes Loopnet can be very wrong. Rocky Hill records are probably more accurate. My favorite resource is the REMAX website, but they don't have every address on file. Is there a website you use or does it vary from town to town?
@VernonElevator I try to find the town's property cards or GIS site. Usually a quick Google search will find it since a lot of towns use a different system
