  I remember watching this after I'd get home from high school. It'd come on at 4pm. School got out around 2:30, but I chose to walk home even though it was a bit of a walk, especially with all those books in my back pack because I hated using lockers, and I needed them anyway to do homework. I'd get home, decompress, and after completing my transition away from the school day, it'd be time to watch this stuff on AMC. As this was years before streaming, I had my own TV program schedule plotted out for the weekdays, which kept me entertained until it was hours past my bed time, and it started here with the hour long block of Three Stooges shorts.

  I read the description, I can say whoever recorded this labeled the tape correctly The race at 16:50 is the "Winston Open", which was a qualifying race for the main event, named "The Winston Select" (the race at 1:30:00)

  I don't know who recorded these videos. I suspect these tapes were from an estate sale or something similar, and may have exchanged hands several times before finding their way to me. If NASCAR videos from '92-'96 are your thing, stay tuned. I have 9 more videotapes I need to digitize and upload to this channel, all from the same "unknown party".

  Looks like that school still had Channel One News at the time. Channel One would provide those little TVs for the classrooms in exchange for showing their newscast in class every day.

  Hey, there! It's been a long time! I still create, but I tend to post where no one can find it, but I've started to reconsider that. Well, this video looks like dog shit. I wish I could upload the video exactly as it looks on my computer, it's beautiful, it's smooth, and each frame has exquisite detail down to the pixel. I'm not surprised that KZread has issues encoding such a... busy... video. How have you been?
