Does anyone have issues with your lungs and breathing? I have a really really major issues with breathlessness. I get really bad tightness in my chest sometimes it feels like a lot of pressure on my chest. I can’t get a good deep breath or I feel like I’ve run a marathon. All I did was stand up. My oxygen level always seems to be OK but sometimes I wonder if being on oxygen would help with the breathlessness. I feel like I’m air hungry 24/7 it really sucks..

I remember when I was a child everyone saying “she will grow out of it” because I was such a fussy eater, what I would eat was so limited, things had to be plain, dry and separated. That kind of thing. I am now 38 and still the fussiest eater I have ever known, I have improved but it’s a texture thing for me. I love the look, smell and taste of something but I simply cannot chew it and swallow it. It’s beyond frustrating and limiting.

Another kook who came up with a kooky idea just to get a reputation. What he said is not true. There are many adults and children who are on the Spectrum who have a very varied diet and it doesn't help them. autism is not caused by food.

there is sensory searching people who eat a really textured and flavourful diet. I am autistic and ADHD and it's only partical information like this misses out the rest of the story yes some are sensory aversion which is what he's talking about but please stop this miss information parcial info is not ok it's stereotyping

Autism and ADHD are not developmental disorders! This man is living in the DSM Stone Age. Also, he generalizes so much that any educational value is lost. And this coming from a clearly overweight man.

I can't stand to drink or smell milk, can't eat meat with fat in it even if it's just a little bit, beef is totally of limits because the meat tastes and smell strange, other than that I'm OK with most foods.

My kids have Adhd and one has Autism as well. What i did was, i gave them pieces of salad, and veggies, on their trays, while i got their dinner or lunch ready. They would put it in their mouth, cause they were hungry, spit it out, try again etc. eventually they would just eat it, and I would introduce another food, like fruit or meat or something else, I know some kids can be picky about. My kids now eats everything they get offered. Always try new foods and are not picky at all. They got to test and try it, at their own pace, and because of all the different flavors, shapes and constistencies, they got over their issues😊

Honestly I'll have to disagree, I'm sure a lot of people might have these problems, but I have ADHD and can eat pretty much anything and it's the same for friends and family members I know who also have ADHD. In general though I don't really know any picky eaters, the one person I know, who doesn't have ADHD or ASD grew out of it when she became an adult.

My child eats a certain ravioli only (knows if it's a different brand), eats 🌮 taco salad but does not eats the mince part. Love s am near and three veg. Does chicken satay and rice. Adores meat pies and mash peas. Homemade pizza. Tinned oysters for snacks. Plus homemade chicken nuggets plus. Shit string fries and salad (just ice berg lettuce and carrot Julienne). He is varied but if it's not right, he won't eat. It's an very challenging Bev cause he's Underweight

I am quite similiar, I mostly prefer fruits and vegetables, HATE MILK so bad that I always know when its in mashed potatoes etc (i am a f*king alarm for milk, ONE TASTE and ill know if a meal has any milk no matter how you masket it). I strongly dislike most milk products and i specifically dislike 99%pasta, dont eat meat except salwater fish and dislike when my foods touch on the plate. Also dislike specific textures so even though i like the taste, i wont eat it. Good luck and I hope youll find what he likes, it took me a rlly long time! Now most vegetables are my safe foods so i rlly like different vegetable soups :)

I worked in the packaging department of a video game distribution company one Spring break. The adhesive they use on those metallic security stickers absolutely MURDERED my fingertips. Ripped the skin right off them. Had to be so careful when applying them. So I not only have ADHD, I have mild PTSD triggered by stickers.

Just anything sticky in general. 😂 Especially if you get it on your hands and are not in a position to wash said sticky stuff off. I've "washed" my hands in many stagnant water puddles in my lifetime as I'd rather dirty stinky hands than sticky hands.

This makes no sense….the salt/oil combination is on par with cocaine and sugar can light up dopamine receptors like a Xmas tree, yet somehow neurodivergent people can overcome this? This sounds anecdotal at best and out right fabrication at worst
