@StephanieTonn That makes total sense. I have a Promoted Single with an Audio Message attached because that’s how it’s set up. Features songs do not have audio messages attached. You are allowed to run several audio messages at the same time though.

My songs will be deleted from digital stores soon, I have access to the metadata and codes for my songs. So if they gets deleted and I upload them to another distributor using the same codes, would I keep the streams?
yes, keep the same ISRC code. you will get a new UPC code. The ISRC is linked to the stream count
Why musicmatch dont show songs lyrics anymore
A few things that I notice when working on updating your lyrics with Musixmatch. 1. Make sure you sign up with a PRO account at about.musixmatch.com/artists/musixmatch-pro-pricing 2. Select Sign in and Continue with the Free Plan 3. They have updated their identity verification policy. Representing artists means you need to verify your identity. Wait for that verification. 4. Add an artist to your roster if you haven't already. That seems to be the main issue with showing lyrics.

doesn’t look like it’s available. what you can do is release it at a specific time on KZread or your website then release it other places a day or so later

I have TuneCore Publishing administrator but this is my first day hearing about MLC. I had a song do 12.9 million plays on KZread shorts but tunecore only shows about 200K of these plays this happened in 2021. I’ve been waiting and waiting but maybe this is the key. I did only purchase a wav file for the song so is there a cutoff because of this?
this may help but not necessarily, it would be considered a licensed use. just a few things to check: 1. are all 12.9MM plays the actual song not a copy of the audio. a copy of the audio would be you uploading the song in your short instead of searching for it from the youtube database. maybe send me a link to the post so i can see it.
I have bmi, publishing Administrator through tunecore and soundexchange. I just heard of the MLC from the this video. I did 12.9 million plays on KZread shorts with one song and tunecore only shows 200K collected. I only bought the wav file so am I never going to get my full payout?

either you perform there live or if they play you most places are supposed to report to BMI or ASCAP. When you play live there songwriters are supposed to submit their set list after every show so BMI or ASCAP can track down their royalties.

I think the best route is the website. I tried the whole process on the app and I keep getting errors whenever I hit submit. I was using the app since 2019 but the app is no longer efficient from my point of view
