I'm a huge CH fan, but I have to agree with the last post...not my cup of tea to say the least. BUT, check out the version Neil and Nick playing w the British Symphony. I hope that's the version that makes it on the album. It is sublime

Wow.., never thought I'd say this, but this is a really bad Crowded House/Neil Finn tune.., not sure what they/he are thinking.., and certainly hope this isn't the direction the band is headed.., I see a couple of people in the audience trying to like it, but you can tell it is really falling flat on the crowd. I watched the video that was released the other day and was really disappointed.., figured the live version would have to have some teeth.., nope, all gums.., been a fan for many, many, many years and will continue to be.., but this isn't on par with the music of Crowded House that I know and love..

Melody isn't bad, sounds like they're still learning it or something. His son is a good drummer but this one really needed Paul Hester (rip) on it.

Give it time, I was a bit underwhelmed at first.. but in classic Crowded House fashion, this song has grown on me. It's in my head !

Just saw them here in Melbourne, Fl Saturday night. They used this song to have Phil Ehart make a limited return from his injury. Eric Holmquist did the first part of the show. They used the cover of darkness to sneak Phil onto his throne. Was a GREAT way to return. He showed no since of the injury the rest of the show. The next sone was Song For America which is a great drummer's song. He was flawless.

Still GREAT! I grew up in Oklahoma in the 1970's and Kansas and Black Oak Arkansas were very highly revered groups there! Both from next-door states!

Awesome! I've been waiting decades to hear Kansas play this song live, other than the guitar solo section. I wonder what took them so long to add it to their song list?

there is NO group like KANSAS, amazing rock tunes with a violin, I mean WTHeck?? ...forcing the boundaries of dynamics, singing about deep spiritual concepts and Indigenous people's points of view, beyond epic imo. I am a retired professional drummer from L.A., I cut my teeth on KANSAS (and Phil) since 1980 when I first started playing, I was 14. Now Phil won't win any technical contests, but he does win an award for being an amazing and consistent (VERY hard to do) rock drummer 50+ years and sounding better than ever. He never over plays, everything he plays fits just right, still one of my all-time favorite drummers. After 21 surgeries, mostly on both feet and lower back (plus one on each thumb) I am out of the game, Phil is 72!!!!!!!...and killing it!!

Carry on my wayward son There'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest Don't you cry no more Ah Once I rose above the noise and confusion Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion I was soaring ever higher, but I flew too high Though my eyes could see I still was a blind man Though my mind could think I still was a mad man I hear the voices when I'm dreaming I can hear them say Carry on my wayward son There'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest Don't you cry no more Masquerading as a man with a reason My charade is the event of the season And if I claim to be a wise man Well, it surely means that I don't know On a stormy sea of moving emotion Tossed about, I'm like a ship on the ocean I set a course for winds of fortune But I hear the voices say Carry on my wayward son There'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest Don't you cry no more no! Carry on You will always remember Carry on Nothing equals the splendor Now your life's no longer empty Surely heaven waits for you Carry on my wayward son There'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest Don't you cry Don't you cry no more No more!

I close my eyes Only for a moment, and the moment's gone All my dreams Pass before my eyes, a curiosity Dust in the wind All they are is dust in the wind Same old song Just a drop of water in an endless sea All we do Crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see Dust in the wind All we are is dust in the wind Now don't hang on Nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky It slips away And all your money won't another minute buy Dust in the wind All we are is dust in the wind (All we are is dust in the wind) Dust in the wind (Everything is dust in the wind) Everything is dust in the wind (In the wind)
