Mr. C's game strategies

Mr. C's game strategies

Hello!
I’m Mr. C and welcome to my channel.
All my life I’ve loved playing games.
I’ve come to the belief that playing games with family and friends brings people closer together. It can be a source of great fun and great times. The laughter, the smiles, from the people that mean most to you, can be unforgettable.
Here, on this tiny corner of the internet, I want to build a community of people who feel the same way that I do, who share my passion for great games. People who want to learn about great games, and bring their knowledge to the table to share.
The videos may be about good strategy, but ultimately learning new games is about bringing new experiences to yourself and the people who are most important to you. If you feel the same that I do, please join me and subscribe, and let’s go on this journey together.

I don't ever remember having a Clue game last this long as far as number of rounds. I'd have either solved it or someone else would have at least 2 rounds earlier. Never seen a completely full card with all checks and X's until I was today years old. My guessing strategy is a little different. I try to guess ones that are the least likely to be in someone's hand. I wanted to yell at my screen when you went to the hall at 28:00. It was pretty obvious at that point that Plum already had it. I would have totally gone to the Library or Kitchen.

Loved the vid, wasn't aware that there were variants in which a single joker can usurp a hand with multiple cards (a joker being able to be played on 2 queens for example). Also I'm used to playing an 8 having the effect of clearing the hand and restarting at the person who played the 8. Still, really enjoyed the commentary and advice!

It's a strategy type of game wherein you need to defend your baryo against evil fiends. Is is based in Filipino folklore and myths. Kindly check the FB page and their website for more info. The game will soon be launching in Kickstarter.

when me and my family play there are only 5 players so the 3 clues the 6th player would have gotten we turn up and let everyone see them and mark them so no one gets the advantage. we have to figure out the rest on our own. if you have your own character card show them that card always first so your not dragged around the board. also if you don't have your character card and they choose 2 or even 3 of the cards your holding always show a different card to different players this way they will each have a different clue and it slows the amount of clues you are giving away. they have to guess which of the cards you had and it makes them double guess something over and over. if you show them all the same clue they stop guessing that clue and they have narrowed it down but if each one of them must do it they waste more time and it makes everyone else think you don't have the card you showed already.

On your second game, you should have called clubs with spades as your off suite. On your first lead in that same game the joker was not played, that is a clue that your partner had the joker.

At the 7:00 minute mark after he explains showing wep the suspect then room the video shows his game card again with X's at places where before they werent. The row with plum, row of the room hall. I get that if someone shows you a card you can put an X for the rest of the row, but at what other times can you put an X?

  • @pershop4950
    @pershop49503 жыл бұрын

The game put the X there because it means, that player did not have the card. For example, you are Player 2. If you suggest Suspect A, Weapon B, and Room C, and Player 3 did not have any cards, and Player 4 has Suspect A and shows you, then you (and the computer app automatically) know that Player 3 had none of those cards, so it puts an X for you. Now, you only know that Player 3 had Suspect A, but you don't know yet if he also has Weapon B and Room C. You'll have to find that out on subsequent turns, since he is only obligated to show you one of those cards. And if you don't ask your next questions correctly, he might just show you Suspect A again on the next time you ask again. For the other times you can put an X, you can put one if you know that everyone has 3 cards, and you already got 3 checkmarks for a particular player. You now know, he cannot have any other cards than the 3 that you know he has. The opposite of this is, when can you put a checkmark? You can put a check mark if Player 3 had to show something to Player 2, but you already know that the other 2 cards are identified to be with someone else. As a result, you know that Player 3 showed that 3rd card to Player 2, even if you didn't see it yourself. But this only works if you know someone else has the other 2 cards, because if you don't and you only know that someone else has 1 of the cards, then you only know that Player 3 might have shown one of 2 cards. You don't know exactly which one.

Wrong u had a 7895 and led with a 9 he threw a 6 and scored 2. You lead with a 7 or 8. If you throw an 8 if he throws a 7 for 15 -2 you make a three point run by throwing a 9 .just so happens he has a 6 so he makes a 4 point run with 6789 for 30 count if u had an A you oould make 31 for 2 . He ends up pegging 4 points u with 5.

Not leading the 10 is erroneous. There are just as many 6s in the deck as 5s. Also putting the 2 10s in your crib was a bad play. You broke a possible 8 pt play by cutting a jack or 9 and you still have the 10s to score in your hand.

The first hand the computer started with 345677 and threw 56? Throw 34 to preserve the double run or the 77 to spike the crib and keep 6 points with a likely double run or 15 on the cut. Am I missing something or is the computer just throwing random cards?

You’re on the right track, but the real reason is: players are more likely to keep a dealt 5 than a 6 because it scores with more cards than a 6. For example, a 5 in my hand scores when TJQK is led or held, while a 6 only scores with a 9 led or held. Therefore A player is generally more likely to keep a 5 in his hand than a 6.
