Where can I get cheap plane ticket, and room plus car rental super cheap?
Hello! Unfortunately, there are too many super cheap options for getting to American Samoa. Plane tickets you need to book as far in advance as possible to get the best deal, but there are only 2-3 flights per week from HNL to PPG on Hawaiian Air and they run about $1,000 (each way) at the lowest at the moment. The flight are Monday and Thursday, with an extra flight on Wednesday during peak seasons/around the holidays. For rooms, Airbnb will likely be the least expensive option for rooms, or you can look for deals at Tradewinds online at Expedia. Car rental is generally around $100/day, though there may be some cheaper options and sometimes a discount with a longer rental. We have used Stephen & Sons the last 2 trips and Tautai Rentals, also. The buses are super convenient to get around and only a few dollars per trip (fare + tip). One other option for flights (from US) is Fiji Airways via Samoa, but you have more layovers and longer distance and it can be potentially cheaper, but you still have to book from Samoa to Am. Samoa, which is around $300, a 30 minute flight (with a full day (24h) time change). There is a boat from Samoa to Am. Samoa, which is cheaper but a long-ish ride. Hope this helps a little!
