I worked with him once many years ago. Was humble, kind and treated me like family. His mannerisms might be deceiving but I can assure you they don’t reflect his character. Y’all leave the O’G alone 🤦🏾‍♂️

I hear Moses Tyson Jr playing like this when I was 16 years old and he was 15 years old. Man I love him since then. He had a huge curly afro then with some tall platform shoes. This was in the early 70's. Moses cousin is Sly as in Sly and the Family Stones.

Once again it’s many of the so called “people of God” who loves to profess being a “Christian” that are the most judgmental haters of someone else’s gift or talent. For the record Moses Tyson, Jr. is known all around the world as being a well respected, skillfully trained and very gifted musician. He plays not just gospel but also other genres such as jazz, classical and blues being good at them all and he’s also one of the most humble person you will ever meet. Even though people love to put labels on others as for being the “greatest of all time” but truth is the true greats have no respect for such labels and their greatness was achieved by studying those considered as being great. They all have taken the time to practice relentlessly to then excel at their craft, so people like Cory Henry were influenced by the Moses Tyson’s, who were influenced by the Billy Preston’s and on and on. So at the end of the day yes they’re all entertainers who are good at what they do; so why not just appreciate and enjoy the remarkable gifts that they all possess. For them it’s never a competition because they all have something to offer, but it’s also a mutual respect for those who can achieve such a level; while never forgetting those who came before them. Hopefully one day all those judgements will be replaced by admiration and respect for their abilities to achieve such greatness; instead of resenting any for their success achieved by using their gifts!

I remember when i was a very young 16 year old girl when Moses Tyson Jr. Came to my church and was playing the orgon just like this, and I ran in church to see who was playing that organ like this? Moses was younger than me but i thought he was older than me. I used to like him but i dont know if he ever noticed me at that time. He wore platform shoes and a nice suit with his big curly afro. I was in love but never got to talk to him i was so shy. Those were the days.

It’s really pitiful how negative people have become and how much one has to say about another’s gift, presentation etc. Most who make the negative comments have the least amount to none of the talent the one being criticized possesses! Smh

this guy is good but he's not the best besides he plays the same thing all the time, more less a one hit wonder! he show boat a lot as well that's takes away the little talent that he do have! Cory Henry is my far much more talented in my opinion and is a class act! This guy, needs to be a little more humble and learn more songs, chords, and music one hit wonder is all he really is.
