05:00 - Fun fact: the first Medal of Honor game had a control option to use dual analog sticks. But because there were no crosshairs, you had to rely on the bullet trails if you intended to run and gun COD style. Or you could just tape a makeshift red dot on your TV to know where the crosshair should be at all times. Medal of Honor underground has the crosshair option so that feels even more like a modern fps game on the PS1.

WHAT A LOSER, YOU ARE TOO OLD TO COMPLAIN LIKE YOUNG PEOPLE DO TODAY ABOUT THE DIFFICULTY AND TOO YOUNG TO SAY THAT THIS WAS A DIFFICULT GAME, FOR BOTH OLD AND YOUNG PEOPLE YOU ARE REALLY PATHETIC AND INOPERABLE. LEARN TO PLAY AND SHUT YOUR MOUTH

idk if its just me, but i found RR 1 easier to control than revolution or Rage Racer. might have to go back to it though since I was trying to grip race when I might should've embraced drifting for those. Revolution in particular I think actually WORSENED the whole "straighten out of a drift, snap into wall, and die" thing, at least for grip oriented cars.

I've still got my original PS1 Doom disk from the 90s and notebooks full of passwords as I've played through this game countless times. To this day a playstation one lives in one room with a copy of Doom in it's drive.

It's the challenge of the original, this game offers no challenge. The idea is good, some gamers just like to be challenged.

The fact you have infinite continues and you start back exactly where you died kind of makes it pointless and offers no challenge, it can be completed every time, good for kids I suppose.

This looks SOOOO much better on the Ps1 I played a bit of this on the gameboy and it somehow is the best and worst thing! XD It honestly looks like a homicidal manic who breaks into someone's home and shoots their dogs and spiders. "Better be ready for ANNNNNNYHTING!!!"

Finally played Resurrection for the first time, you nailed my thoughts on it completely. Although I gave up when I reached Distephano’s stage. It has that European BS game design with unfair enemy placement and high HP that depletes ammo. The final straw for me is that the game allows you to save nearby hostiles (Hmm I wonder when they fixed that ;)) So it was a death loop over and over. It’s such a shame because the whole presentation and effort that went into the game is a 10/10 but I have to give it a 6.

this was an awesome video. it pretty much mirrors my feelings exactly. I also liked ridge racer 3D back when it came out, it was a good launch title to showcase the power of the 3DS. plays similar to RR7 with the use of nitros and slip streaming.

Still love this game. The music and sound effects are so good in this version, where the PC made the game very fast and tense, the Ps1's soundtrack made the experience a lot more of a dark and atmospheric experience. I also like the gabba track they threw in the club doom level too.

SH4 is masterclass at story telling. Its world is no longer only scary or melancholic, But innocence getting shredded into pieces in front of your eyes as the plot reveals it self, It's truely dark and hanuting! That's perhaps why in time I'v forgotten the annoyances I had with its first played playthrough. Feeling grateful to have experienced it! Great video!

I think the "it should be called something else" statement is incredibly stupid and senseless, to that I simply reply: "Why call it anything else?" Are you guys that angry you were told there was one last good Silent Hill game and it turned out to be very different? It sold so poorly it pretty much buried Team Silent and people still think a name change would've been a good call.

Just wish there were more endings. Btw, man, the twin victims may be the scariest design in the entire series. Especially how they just stare and point at you lol
