  Thanks for the review. We are currently looking into the system. Can you give any info on the cellular portion of their product? I am unsure when one would need to use the cellular portion? If it is GPS based. Thank you!

  Great question! The optional cellular subscription allows you to receive real-time alerts (such as escape notifications) and track your dog in real-time if they were to escape their barrier (or you just want to see where they are in the moment) You can add or cancel the subscription at any time. You do NOT need cellular service or a subscription plan to create fences or securely contain your dog. Please let us know if you have any other questions we can answer!

  I am wondering if you felt the need to visibly walk the entire property while training with your dog, or if a few locations sufficed as the correction is not visual. We have a large property where it would be very difficult to walk the perimeter of the fence we will be creating.

  Great question! You can draw the boundaries in the app if you don’t want to walk the perimeter. It’s a time (and energy saver) for those with large acreage!

  Containment will work without cell service as long as you have a view of the sky. If you'd like to unlock additional features such as live tracking and recall, you will need cell service at your property.

  I agree this is a wonderful collar. Our Pyr respected the collar until winter. I have been seeing that some people are shaving the area so the contacts touch the skin. How do you handle the double coat?

  We'd recommend using our longer set of prongs. If the hair is still too thick to make contact, you could shave the area down where the prongs are going to sit so that contact can be made.

  For those who are not familiar, "static" correction means "shock". Its a shock collar but they use new terms to mislead pet owners so it doesn't sound as bad as it is.

  This Process is significantly different from plans A, B & C on the KZread SpotOn training Videos. What happened to the flags and the center target? Are those outdated planning training videos? Please clarify which is the correct process to follow. Thank you.

  I’m not with SpotOn but I would recommend the sound and the training flags so the dog has a visual and hears the sound

  Loved this collar for the 3 weeks before it became damaged. The power button is a weak point on the front of the collar. It is in a vulnerable area on the front of the collar and damage to that button cover will compromise the waterproof nature of the collar. Damage to this button cover will most likely not be covered by warranty as it is easy to say it’s punctured by dog damage. If this button was less vulnerable, I would love it. However, everyday dog activity will damage this button and you will be charged at least $150 to fix it. Major flaw in design as the power button is rarely used and could have been sunken on the back where it would be less prone to damage.

  Yeah I tried the wireless fences before my dog just ran as fast as he can the wrong way yelping the whole time. This was 1990s time though I hope they improved that little bit
