I think someone at Dynon realized that part 2, where they show and tell you how to physically install a servo, would expose Dynon to a lawsuit when someone inevitably points to the video and says: “But I followed your instructions so it is your fault!”

When did you start supplying the wires with a jacket? I ordered 2 about 6 months ago and they were bundled wire, no jacket.
Good question. My experience too.
Only the servo harness comes without a jacket. This is due to how power and ground wires are typically routed differently than the network wires. All network harnesses come with the jacket.

Excellent video!!! What is best practice for firing up plane with Dynon EMS? It has to be on, but I don’t want avionics to get surge of electricity yet I need to know immediately oil pressure, RPMs etc when engine turns over. Thoughts?

A welcome video on HDX! Q: Does an PC simulator exist for HDX for training purposes?
This video had the potential to be a really good video but your audio was pretty bad and then it seemed like you were in such a big hurry to get through all of this that it was hard to comprehend very much. Would like to see you make the video over again with better audio and moving at a little slower pace.

That RV is great - had the privilege of parking my plane C-FMVU beside it at Oshkosh this past summer.
I appreciate these videos from Dynon. As someone building an experimental aircraft, I would appreciate Dynon making more of these videos discussing options and actual installations (esp remote components and wiring). If I can suggest a model, please make a detailed video for a Zenith Super Duty 750.

I won a D1 unit at the Zenith builders dinner some years ago. Now the unit will not hold a full battery charge, At one time I think a friend used another battery charger unit to charge the batter and now this D1 does not show the complete unit functions. Can this unit be repaired and what would be the estmated cost?
I’d assume there is no plan on offering a nav/comm for traditional ILS glide slopes. I like the integrated radio function but one is kind of forced to get a standalone nav/comm since one isn’t available.
Is this the same as the older HS34?
Unfortunately, Our 182 has an ADF loop antenna mounted in the proposed location for the pitch servo.

Spelled starring wrong
Loving the dynon hdx, any info on reading egt in the 20% mode in the bottom band? The numbers do not make sense to me like they do in the 50% screen size. In the 20% they share the space with CHT. Those numbers do make sense. Thanks
