  That’s why I say most fire departments or volunteers if they want to get a new apparatus it should be a quint. Ladder and fire attack in one (and more) 8:23 is a perfect example- it can have a little tank but still do such a good job knocking fire down before a engine company gets on scene.

  I find it crazy that in columbia county barley any apparatus goes to a working fire but there in schuylkill and carbon counties they send aireals pumpers rescues all you need to put out a fire. If only all counties were like that
