I played this sound on loop and I attracted some golden finches. They were eating at the bag of seeds I hanged up. This is a life saver.

It's so jarring when I play Zelda Breath of the Wild and hear a whippoorwill. Really? They don't have any cool sounding birds in Japan?

I was worried the House Wren was "controversial" because it was making offensive political comments on its Facebook page. Glad to know that's not the case. 😏 Note: the wren who's been singing his heart out - for several months! - and building a nest in the birdhouse in our yard has finally got a mate. Love is in the air! ❤️ Best wishes from Vermont 🍁

Robins - and any of the Thrush, are one of my favorites to watch hunting. Listening this morning, before the crack of dawn, just a hint of light in the sky @ 4:15 am. I played this recording using a Bluetooth speaker, out the window to see if there would be a response I don't know if there was a response but I feel like I was in a conversation with the early bird

I live in east central GA. One spring I noticed out of my window a new bird on my shed roof/bird feeder. At first I thought someone's bird had escaped. It was eating millet I use for buntings. I searched my bird books, nothing in Eastern songbirds. I finally found it ..an immature Lazuli Bunting! We'd just had a strong storm blow up from southwest . I figured it must have blown him into our area. He stayed about a week, feeding daily, then he was gone. I figured he flew westward where he belonged. That was an exciting one time experience.
