  Kumpaakin syyläriä jeesusteipilllä umpeen 2/3 pinta-alasta, silti tuossa miinuskaheksan pakkaskelissä 30v kokemuksella syylärinkorkki oli käsimittauksella alle 50°C kun ei itävaltalainen näihin osaa laittaa lämpönäyttöä mittaristoon vaikka ruiskulle on anturi ja moottoriohjaus sen tiedon saa. Samalla kokemuksella jatkan moottorijarrun käyttöä jatkossakin

  2000 luvun taitteessa kun ajoin kilpaaki oli pelkkiä kakstahteja 125-250cc eikä niitä ikinä moottorijarrulla saanu tarttumaa jäähommissa.. Taitolaji seosbensakin mutta tämä on tuorevoitelu

  Totta, ajoin 11v:nä cr125 moottorisella mikroautolla ja sillä tuli työnnettyä surutta pienempää sisään suorien lopussa muttei tykänny silti pahaa 😎@@khalonen

  I know this is an old post, not sure if you’ll see this. But are you saying you just ended up replacing those 2 bearings on the transfer driven gear and it fixed your whine? I’m having a gear whine while coasting and I have the transfer case open now. Bearings seem ok but the tapered one seems a little sticky.

  I replaced every bearing in the transfer case once had it open. Only 1 had failed, which is the large flanged ball bearing behind the gear I rotate last in the video.

  @@khalonen thanks for your reply. Didn’t have my notifications on. I was in there to replace my center diff so I did that and just packed the transfer gear bearings with new grease and problem seems to be fixed. I’m thinking my issue was just the center diff and not the bearings but I’m sure it didn’t hurt to pack fresh grease in there.

  @@jamescook9971 The whole transfer case is lubricated by gear oil, except center diff which is sealed unit. Grease does literally nothing in there.

  Tylsäksi käyneet mäkivetokisat kun mukana pullingtraktoreita. Ainakin 2000-2010 monissa mäkivedoissa oli lähes ainoastaan paikallisten maanviljelijöiden ja urakoitsijoiden työkaluja, osa viritettyjä tietty. Verrattavissa siihen että jokkikseen osallistuttaisiin vaikkapa Focus WRCllä tms. viimeistellyllä kisavehkeellä 😁

  Would it make a grinding noise as soon as you let off throttle in gear? But when you went back on throttle it would go away??

  When the bearing is that bad, it will grind off-throttle, and whine like a straight spur gear on-throttle as the teeth contact for that helical gear pair is then off.

  Are these coolant temp gauges supposed to be installed on the hose to the engine or the hose from the engine to the radiator?

  "Upper radiator hose" is where hot water leaving the cylinder head gives you the best idea what temp. your engine is running, so that's where most people would put it. As you can see in the video, mine is installed there with the blue adapter, for 22mm hose in this case. And Yamaha factory temp. sensor is also at the same spot, on the hose elbow at the cylinder head.
