Hi Bob, great drive, thanks for sharing that! Wish you could give your opinion about KA100 vs X30 (100cc senior vs Tag senior) at LMP specifically, looks like Tag Sr. class has a higher level of compitition. Is it worth to buy an IAME X30?

And what's the lap difference? Max speed? Costs? etc.

@@davidmacus Thanks David. This season we are seeing 10 or more in KA at every event. and TAG is a little less. Our most recent race we had 11 in KA and 6 in TAG. LMP is just under half a mile in length and there is about 1-2 second difference per lap. The key thing is TAG run a softer yellow compound MG tire and you will replace tires more frequently to be competitive. The MG reds we run in KA are harder and last much longer. The competition is equally intense and in my opinion, is much closer in KA. The other thing TAG is divided between the X30 and Rotax, but we are all using KA's in 100cc air cooled.

@@mtbikerbob That's very helpful Bob, appreciate that. Looks like KA would be my right place. The only thing that I'm worring is cost. Would you plz give me some info about KA's annual spending?

Hi Bob, great video! I am looking at getting into Karting and since I live in central PA I was looking at Lafayette and the Spartan series. I was wondering if you had any insight that you would be willing to share for someone looking to get into Karting in this area. I was looking a LO206 but it doesn't seem all that popular around here. Anyway, keep up the great driving and maybe I will see you out there someday!

Thank you for your comments. Sprint style karting (road course) can be a bit of a struggle. We have guys drive several hours to run at Lafayette. I would gladly try to help you out as would most everyone at our track.

Thank you for posting this video, Bob. You are a very good racer.......it was unfortunate that you were taken out at the end of the long straight by someone missing their braking point.

Thanks for the comment. It was partially my fault for staying wide to prevent getting hit, but I still ended up off the track. Thats racing sometimes.
