Great video very informative
Thanks! Glad it was helpful for you
Hi what lake pls 1 or 2?
That was speci 2. The top lake
@@WetLines which do you thinks better please? Are fish same size? Ty
100% speci 2. Speci 1 is decent, but lots of narrow sections and big cat fish and snags. It doesn't equal a good time lol. Speci 2, I'm fairly sure has the bigger fish in without the narrow snaggy margin issues.
Well done mate
Cheers! Appreciate it
Well done Ian
Thank you!!
Nice session Ian - well done!! Did those scent from hell pop ups arrive yet and have u smelt them?
Oh I have them!! They're ready for me next session. The smell really is something else lol
Quality watch. What line are you using please. That looks wicked on those reels
That is Wychwood DPF line
@@WetLines spot on. Cheers buddy
good result that baker, 4 good fish topped with a 30 plus, nice one, ps sorry for calling u by ur last name baker, dont know ur first name bv lol
Thank you!! That's no problem to me, most people refer to me as baker anyway, so all is good!!
kiazen rods are nice bit of kit, very light, the platinum range are made from more expensive type of carbon, anti twist etc...top of the tree rods mate,
Well the kiazens seem more than good enough for me! I can't even imagine how a platinum can be much better, but I'm sure they are! You got them? Or ever handled them??
bit of advice baker mate, ditch the back leads, coz its a nightmare if carp get behind the back lead, ive lost couple of good uns threw this, so i fkd em off, good mirror u had at first. well done
Yeah I dunno what to do about them. I like having my line pinned down but the back leads do my head in getting in the way! What do you do?
Cracking session awesome mirror to kick things off onto the next adventure tightlines look forward to the next video 🎣 👊
Thanks Darwin!! On to the next one indeed!!
Nice session Ian and well done. The first mirror at 35 lbs was the cherry on the cake but the commons were bars of gold too !
It was a cracking cherry on top for sure! Probably my best session for a while in terms of overall number of fish and size.
Nice sesh . Always enjoy your videos. By the way are you a rod connoisseur 😂
😂😂 I'm certainly not one! Lol and thank you appreciate it
Must be the purple line lol, don't put those bream in your net🙈
Oh they're not going in there again lol
Well done fella, awesome
Thank you!!
Perfect timing fishing there in a couple weeks, keep up the work lads
Awesome! Thank you, best of luck with your session!
Lovely lovely times

Cracking meal. happy to see anywhere that not a kitchen
Glad you enjoyed it
It’s a shame you lost that big carps must remember you’re there for the battle make the most of it and enjoy it👊🏼
Exactly that!! All part of game!
Well done that man! Cracking fish! I might have to get myself down to Cottington to bag myself a PB?! Lovely looking lake as well! Those steamies seem to be the one!
Thank you! Yeah the steamies certainly been doing the business there for us! Well worth and try and the venue is 100% worth a visit
Would 10ft 3lb test rods be fine for this venue?
Yeah most definitely 👍
Mega mate
Cheers
Nice to see master chef land a new PB. WELL DONE CHAPS
Thank you kindly.
It's great to see people getting there PB's Well done guys 👍🏼
It sure is! Always a pleasure to be there. Thank you
Good work fellas, lovely pb for bivvy bistro. And welcome back to cider of the sesh. Tony must be taking the wedding prep very seriously not to partake.....
No mate I stopped drinking 2 years this November
Thank you!
Well done Tony, nearly 2 years, not easy
Pukka vid chaps how do you book on this place
Thank you, if you go on their website, they have a calendar thing you can look at that gives the availability. Then you can select the book option and book the dates you want if they're available. And you pay a deposit if it's long enough away, I think it's 50% of the total cost.
Good video, starting to really get about them down cottington by looks of it. Look forward to the next one. Hopefully wont be too long haha
Won't be too long this time, I'm ahead of things this time!
Another quality vid stunning mirror's congrats on the pb into the next adventure tightlines look forward to the next video 🎣 👊
Thank you!! Appreciate it.
What a sesh well done lads love the videos
Thank you mate, appreciate the love 🙏
Do you wear crotchless waders ?
👍👍👍
would like to see u guys use some Baitworks Scent from Hell pop ups if u havent done so alreay, bought some recently and they really are the strongest smelling bait I have ever encountered!! Haven't had a chance to use them yet but would like to see u use them in case its before I do! Well done on the 39lb just after ur 40 - glad to see u getting some decent fish in ur net Ian
Alright then, consider it done lol I've just ordered some scent from hell wafters and I'll use them on my next session on one of my rods and see how it does!!
@@WetLines Top man Ian - u wait till u smell them and good luck!
@joecotter9014 thanks, can't wait lol
Another good video, lovely fish. Do you lot never go to france then
Thank you, nah not yet. Me personally I want to fish England more. I've only just got my first 40, so I don't want a UK 40 to suddenly feel underwhelming because I've caught 50s or 60s in France. One day I'll go for sure though!
Very nice 😊. What weigh sling/retention sling have you got?
Let me check coz I don't remember the exact.
Banging video mate, you boys aint hanging around with these high 30s now. Making it look easy. Whens the second part of the socail out? Looked forward to your next video
Whenever KZread realise the copyright claim is nonsense and clear the video to be posted.
@@WetLines oh really? That ain't good what you breached copyright on haha
Nothing!! Lol that's the point. Some automated system thing claims the tune on the intro thing is from some Indian song lol
Ahh your having a laugh that's madness
@@df1991. it sure is!! But it's dealt with now, so new video at 9am!!
Banging mirror mate 👌 top angling
Thanks!! Pulling away from you now with these 30s lol
Its all good mate, I'm just happy we're getting great content for our followers
Nice mirror bud. I say quality always trumps quantity !
Completely agree!! Thanks.
How on earth do you confuse a tench with a bream, shame on you. Banger of a mirror, nice one
Haah coz my knowledge of bream and tench ain't the greatest lol I never really catch them so I've never needed to know. Lol but I know now!!
Nods mate. But nice nods.
Quality watch as always onto the next adventure tightlines look forward to the next video 🎣 👊
Glad you enjoyed it
😎🤌
👌
Wow you blow me away how heavy in lbs was it
How heavy was this one ☝️
Loved the video, roll on part 2 😃
Thank you! Appreciate it.
Wow a whopper
READ ME. VIEW MY ITEM IMAGES ON ..... A-MA-Z-ON !!! My VERY Detailed review of this VERY expensive Cooking Oven. -------------- Build Quality = 3 / 10 For £179 I was VERY disappointed to find the items held together with rivets and NOT been MIG welded, this is ** VERY ** poor..... It cuts the costs of skilled labour. The oven is also missing a flame guard? This flame guard was included in the very 1st versions of this oven 2 years ago, now removed for cost? & replaced with a solid shelf, this shelf could very quickly over heat the bottom of the food on this shelf, it also restricts the heat from getting to the upper wired shelf. Because of this I have made my own flame guard ( see images enclosed in this review ) I basically placed a nut & bolt through the fittings that are made to take the flame guard. These fittings are still in place, I assume they have NOT altered their tooling in China to remove this operation. I made mine from 316 stainless steel ( see images ) ….. For £179 I would NOT expect to be making parts for this oven. The ND stamped letters in the top of the oven are wasted opportunity to safe guard someone burning themselves ( VERY badly ) this should have been embossed with the words HOT. Over all the items OK, but fare from outstanding hence the make 4 / 10 This TOP area is way to small for a pan etc, the raised area ( see images ) is dangerous a pans base is much bigger than this area. I have again made a part for this area, a pan RING from 316 stainless steel 155mm Dia 15mm tall to allow the pans to sit on the ring and NOT this small dangerous raised area. -------------- Build finish = 6 / 10 For £179 I was disappointed to find the item still has burrs and sharp edges POOR !! >>> -------------- Using the oven = 6 / 10 Once built the unit works well getting up to 500 degrees ( Gas make 10 ) 400 degrees = Gas mark 6 ) Setting the flame to burn BLUE & not YELLOW is simple enough but no markings on the adjuster to set the regulator holes at a later date in the correct place ( had to use a sharpie pen ) -------------- Access to spare parts = 0 / 10 NO spare parts openly available VERY POOR indeed !!! -------------- Cost = 3 / 10 Truly over priced for the items build. Finish, etc -------------- OVER ALL SCORE = 3.6 of 10 ….. Poor @ £179 -------------- Conclusion = Very poor build & finish POOR… Value ( I think this is only worth around £80 to £100 ) would I buy it again ** NEVER ** However until now, I have NOT found ANYONE else manufacturing an oven running on 500cc low pressure gas cans.
Pov you go to cottington 2 times a week
😂not that often! I wish. But we're enjoying fishing there at the moment and it's getting us our pbs!!
I got a 18lbs out of match lake it was a beautiful fish
Awesome effort!
It took me 26 sessions
Is the prairie a 3 rod water??
It is indeed yes!
When you boys fish those swims , where's the nearest carp park ?
It's not to far, if you watch this video you'll get a rough idea. Where I show the small bridge, the car park is probably no more than 50 metres from that. Maximum. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qZimucORmpCxm7A.htmlsi=Z1mrDaesRBktCv98
Without an adapter for a propane gas bottle, it doesn't make sense. If it came with something like that, I'd buy it straight away. You can save yourself the trouble of heating the mini cartridges... otherwise, it's a really cool thing.
You are boring as hell
