  The FL5 CTR ran a 7:44.881 on the 12.93 mile lap of the Nurburgring in 2023. It is absolutely bat shit crazy what the Honda engineers are able to pull out of this FWD platform and all for a MSRP of under <$45KUSD.

  Ferrari is a GT car and not a race car. Probably a gentleman driver on the racetrack. I think the Honda driver participated on the 24 hours of Nürburgring last year.

  Super drive. Engine - I know it is early, but have you had the intake inspected for carbon build up? I have not seen information about Honda's direct injection engines and carbon build up, but other manufacturers have that problem on engines without port injection. I plan to have mine checked around 60k miles. Your car has many more miles to go for 60k miles. I think you posted that you had 62k km.

  Another great vid sir. ❤❤❤ what I like about your vids; not only are you looking a head to the next apex, your fully aware of other drivers behind you. It's easy to see you looking in your rear view and side mirrors. Example you saw to fast movers coming up on you a 911 and something else. You moved over while keeping your speed up. That's what makes your vids entertaining your respectful to others on the track. It's nice to see you back after not posting vids for a while.

  Beside mods listed in the film descriprion - is there anything else? Stock HP? What et are your rims? I'm wondering how it's with handling on 18' - I have still oem 20' with spacers and I'm wonder if they don't make driving worse

  No other mods, engine is stock and I also don’t recommend increasing the HP, especially if you drive on track 😌 For the track 20’ are nothing, I tried it and immediately changed to 18’ 👌 On the track the 20’ is too “hard”, you need rubber to work in the curves, for street use 20’ are perfectly fine

  @@NordschleifeTypeR are you using spacers? Can you send me photo of your car just to see how it looks? I'm planning to take my FK8 to Nordschleife but at the same time it's my daily so I don't want any other mods. Stock HP it's totally enough for me and I want it to be as most reliable as it could be. What about overheating? I think that the main problem is catalitic converter - mounder in front of the car next to the intake, instead of under the engine. About wheels - I even lost traction doing some curve on street with PS4S and I wonder how it would be on 18. I want it to be more comfortable and ready for some fun as well.

  Yes there were like 4 yellow flags on that lap afterwards, so the rest was really boring 🥱 and regarding the windshield horrible I know 🤣 next time I need to take a spray with me to clean it 🫣

  Perfect drive from Honda Driver. The Lotus is extremely fast straight but in curves no chance against the Honda. Clö renolds.

  drive the Lotus, then drive the TypeR...you'll go faster on the TypeR, not because the TypeR is better...simply because, for average skill driver, a FWD is always MUCH EASIER to push on the limit than a Lotus. Moreover...it is clear the guy on the lotus is taking it very carefully, probably due also to the setup

  Nice real life comparison between both cars' performance. Ferrari is not a driver's car, it's a status symbol saying "I am very rich". They are extremely expensive to own, unreliable, impractical, not really fast considering the price category, and they still ride harsh. Not sure what's there really to like apart from looks and status.

  Another great lap. I'll bet that about all that Ferrari could see in the rear-view mirror was your hood scoop and face. lol He couldn't pull away on the straights, and was clearly slower in the curves.

  Yes you are right. Benz are quick on the Nürburgring and the test these cars regularly. But the driver was very experienced as well. I saw Antonio Jung-Stroof in the pit lane and I think he was driving the Benz in the video. It’s great that during Touristenfachten you have such professional drivers 🚀👍

  Ein Ferrari auf der Strecke zu sehen ist eher selten, er nahm es eher gemütlich, obwohl sein Wagen nicht so stabil erscheint. Den AMG hat er durchgewunken, dich hält er bestimmt auf. Den BMW lässt er auch durch... den zweiten AMG auch... Dennoch eine schöne Runde. 👍💪✌

  Vielen Dank 😊 Öltemperatur nicht aber hatte gestern Probleme mit der Zündspule, zum Glück heute ein Profi gefunden der das Problem kannte und gelöst hat, das Kabel welches zur Zündspule geht hat zu heiss bekommen und weil dieses 4 mal eine 90Grad Winkel macht, kann es sich nicht richtig ausdehnen, Abdeckung weg und hoffen, dass es nun hält 😅 Öl ist original 0w-20, hast du auch ein Civic?

  @@NordschleifeTypeR hatte einen Sonic grauen Type r fk8, hab diesen ein Jahr später für das gleiche Geld verkauft und wollte mir den neuen holen. Nachdem aber die Preise bekannt gegebenen wurden, in Verbindung mit der geringen Stückzahl, hab ich es erstmal gelassen. Schwanke jetzt zwischen dem neuen als Garagenschätzchen oder wieder den fk8 zum Track knallen. Der fk8 war das beste Auto was ich je hatte, in jeder Hinsicht. 👍

  Glad to see a new video from you! It's been a while, but your skills are as good as ever. The Altezza looks a lot like the Lexus IS 300 sold in the States, which had a 200hp naturally aspirated 3.0 inline 6. This one seems to have quite a bit more power.

  Thank you for watching 😊 Was a good lap but not on the limit as I had power issues, went to a garage today and hope that it‘s solved now - anyway this guy was really fast, I’ve never seen a Toyota altezza I also thought it’s a Lexus, definitely more then 200hp 🤣

  Stock Altezza has an inline 4cyl with 210hp, was only available in Japan. Lexus IS200 and 300 is the same body, but different engines. 155hp and 230hp or so. I was there yesterday too and from the looks of the grill it was the japanese Altezza. I have the exact same engine in my Celica haha The IS300 Version has the 2JZ non Turbo Version in Case you didn't know, that's why it is so easy to swap in the turbo Version and make big power

  Great drive - impressive! At the Ring myself in my recently purchased FK8 R at the end of June. It’s entirely stock apart from Cup 2s, pads and fluid. Do you have any cooling mods? Concerned at high temps. Many thanks in advance.

  Thank you ☺️ The FK8 it’s fantastic, you will have a lot of fun with it 😀 wish you good drives 👍 No I don’t have any cooling mods but now definitely need to, I had power issues yesterday (last year similar) and went to a garage today here in Kelberg, the issue was that the cable going into the ignition coil overheated, so the expert said I need to do something to bring in more cooling like another oil cooler etc he gave me an address (tegiwaimports) from the uk to check what they have for the FK8, did you experience cooling issues?

  @@NordschleifeTypeR Sorry for my delay. I don’t have any cooling mods - might consider oil cooler for the trip. Mega excited. It’s championship white on UK plates. I’ll be there 28June - 1July.
