@Eat_Pi4 күн бұрын
@bradleson509 Good question! When adding or subtracting, the variables stay the same. When multiplying or dividing, the variables and exponents can change. Here, we're adding. So it's kind of like saying, what's 5 apples + 7 apples? 12 apples Not 12 apples² However, when you're multiplying, then yes you need to multiply the numbers AND the variables so: 5x*7x The numbers: 5*7=35 The variables: x*x=x² So combined = 35x² Hope that helps 👍

Good question! You would have to convert the days to years. How many days are in a year? Approximately 365 So take the days you have (270) and divide it by the days in a year (365) to convert from days to years: 270/365 = 0.74 So your t = 0.74 👍

Good question, you can convert mixed fractions to improper fractions with a "trick". It might be easier to see an example (here's a link): kzread.info/dash/bejne/m6eeuq-gmKvQXaw.htmlsi=VFHz30vZxbTLOA0a But i'll explain how to do it below: First, multiply the denominator (10) by the whole number (2): 10 x 2 = 20 Second, add the numerator (9) to the number we just found (20): 20 + 9 = 29 Lastly, put your answer (29) over the original denominator (10): 29/10 So 2 & 9/10 = 29/10 👍
