  Worse. Have a hard time playing with settings. Figured what my xp50 is would get it close.

  @BSTRKIN the XG has a different processor than the XP the settings will be different. Try adjusting your settings at each set before you start calling. After a while, it will become a habit, and you will have a better picture.

  Slik 700 with a Cretac SBH-50D ball head. I have been using this tripod for 5 years now and it is still holding up great. The ball head is 4 years old and I like it too.

  Nice shooting. How do you sight your thermal in to be able to make 200 plus yard shots consistently? I think my pulsar has a wandering zero issue but it's harder to sight in perfectly to know for sure if it's me, scope, gun. Ammo

  I use a 1 inch square of aluminum foil at 100 yds to sight in, a hand warmer is too big of a target. I practice shooting from the tripod at longer ranges. I always adjust the focus on my crosshairs at the beginning of each set as I think my eyes change a little throughout the night and I start to get a little double or blurry crosshair. If you have doubts about your zero check it often until you trust it. Practice how you hunt.

  @coyoteterminator2215 thank you much. That's what I've been having trouble with is aiming center mass on a larger heat source and not knowing if I'm really center or if heat blooming is causing issue's... I'll give it a try, thanks again

  How do like the c50 compared to your thermal ? I went from a N450 to an XQ50 pro. Definitely in love with it, but I do miss NV sometimes for identifying.
