I don’t like that whole “ thug “ comment by her . These aren’t gang members or people selling drugs etc . Very inappropriate comment by her . Especially being that majority of the NFL is African American
She did not directly called the Giants players thugs, she mentioned there was a thin line between standing up for yourself and being just a thug. And she mentioned at times the practices bordered on thuggery. She was referring to how they were behaving. And you also have to keep in mind, yes the NFL has a large majority of African Americans, but there are also white, samoan, and other races who play the game too. Her words were not to call them thugs, but her words were for them to be cautious not to act like thugs. I honestly think especially in this country, we have become too trigger happy at every comment someone makes and are too quick to respond. If that word bothers you I understand, but Patricia Traina is not the type of person who would say things to offend anyone. But she is right about the Giants in that yes, they are young kids, and yes it was hot and it's easy for tempers to flare, but they have to try to maintain their composure especially when in front of others.
Fighting is a part of football, just like hockey is. If you don't want fights, go watch tennis!!
If you fight on the football field, that's a 15-yard penalty and a possible ejection. You really want to see a key player get tossed out of a game because he lost his cool and engaged in a fight?
I suspect you were holding your tongue back about the fighting going on at the practices. From what I hear is that locked on lions really blamed the giants for the fights and then disparaged them about how poor of a team New York has. I didn’t care too hear that. If Lock agrees not to sign with anyone else, we could cut Lock, sign him to PS, and activate him for 1st 3 games to buy some time.
Why would he or the Giants do this? His contract is almost all guaranteed with a $2 million signing bonus..
@@sheldonf It's a way to get around the 53 man roster rule. The vet agrees not to sign with another team and then they are put on practice squad and promoted the next 3 weeks and then you need to make room on the 53 man roster after 3rd week. And agree to resign them at original contract. Probably Lock is too high profile to do this with on second thought. We did it with Davis Webb a couple years ago, but u r right Lock doesn't make sense.

I'm sure every single Giants fan is tired of losing. I know I am. It's time to bring pride back to this organization. It starts by winning. Winning week one!!! Put a stake in the ground and let our play tell every team we are done losing. Until tell, it's all words.
I hope JMS shoulder heals naturally no one was to have to get under the knife and have surgery.... hopefully he can rest it and come back and be ready for the season.
Good job as usual, not just in getting the information from camp out to the masses but in your even keeled approach. Maybe it is because you are a professional but watching and listening to many out there that produce Giants content, they can overreact to a day's practice and swing to extremes. O-line is a concern because while I believe these veterans added will do their job if injuries occur where are we? I'll only believe Neal is healthy and playing competently if our eyes see it. Not expecting it. But JMS being hurt again after being hurt last year is a concern. Doesn't matter what he brings if he isn't on the field and you won't last in the league if you don't play.

Hi Patty, Am on my laptop and just wanted to say I watch you every day on my TV via ROKU now. Last year with my Direct TV losing the Sunday Ticket I was forced to go streaming with ROKU to get You Tube TV to get the new Sunday Ticket. I discovered I could watch all my great podcast content on You Tube on my television in my recliner so I watch you all the time from the comfort of my recliner. Went on you tube just now via my laptop for a moment and wanted to give you a shout out and a thank you! I have not abandoned you! Great recap Patty!!! I, too, am concerned about JMS and having to revamp the line again and also the CB2. I am happy with Daniel’s progress and Daboll calling the plays. And They’ve given him a new oline, a new oline coach and great targets receiving and running. And the RB room looks great. Let’s not sleep on Dante Miller. I’m feeling good about the season but I have said that before. lol. 😆

@@donbur1553 that wasn’t the point. How many times last year did the Giants lack juice and get pushed around? This year they have a little swag and a lot more confidence in their ways. And you’d be surprised what confidence can do.
Great video as always Ptrain you spoil me with your great work. Nebars is a beast he destroyed the Lions secondary against there best cb Arnold. The Giants are a tough group and we held our own against the Lions. Our team turned a corner and we are ready to compete. Our Oline played very well against Lions we need JMS to get healthy and we will have a very good Oline. I agree we still have a problem with CB2 please please get a solid veteran CB. We need to upgrade our run defense the whole team has to commit to stopping the run. Brian Burns is a beast i am so glad we got him he is a dominant player. JMS please let him get better we need him so badly. I am very happy Daniel Jones is playing much better i am so grateful for that. Our safetys are solid we have solid slot Cb Phillips is very solid. Tracey is a solid rb2 we have good offensive weapons. I like Theo Johnson our rookie TE. Our defense front 7 is very solid. JMS wasn't good last year...not calling him a bust but that's what he was last year. Joe Schoen and the Giants are terrible at drafting olineman.

Great show. A lot of what I've heard matches your observations. Not sure about how many games the Giants will win but it sounds like this will be a more competitive team than last year. Great to hear that the Giants 2 biggest offseason moves - drafting Nabers and acquiring Burns appear to be as good as hoped for.

Those people are Haters
With Nabers probably drawing a double team, that should prevent defenses from loading up the box. That's good for the running game and for pass blocking.
Nabers is definitely unguardable. My concern is that Daniel Jones is going to end up getting Nabers hurt unless he can throw him a better ball.

@@conservativeguy9329 It's not hatred, it's objective observable analysis of his throwing. How many times does the receiver have to readjust his position to catch the ball? How many times does the receiver end up on the ground as a result instead of what would have been a touchdown or significant yards made after the catch. These things are observable and objective observations, not hate. I hope Daniel Jones stays healthy and cleans up his passes and has a great season. Because that means the Giants have a great season. But I also will not ignore reality.
