    The Cold Steel Napoleon 1830 handle is built weird in my opinion and harder to grip onto especially if you have smaller hands. The sword is heavier and doesn't have the back sharpened like this one does. I like this one better for the time period.

    Yah I have a few I haven’t made videos on. One of them was in this video. The only thing about reviewing swords is that it does cost money to buy these swords and I’ve gotten more into investing. Way back in the day, KZread was a lot more friendly to content creators that actually make good content instead of people who just rehash the same video ever single day so I stopped making videos for a while because i have a life and KZread took the promise of monetization for simply having views and subscribers away. NOW you need to have watch hours and those watch hours disappear if people aren’t constantly watching your videos (hence creators who rehash the same videos once a week or every single day who I think you’re probably getting bored of just like me)

    DUUUUDE ya, this is pretty much the same thing with a longer handle. I've gotta say I do prefer a shorter handle on a sword of this length LOL, but this is a "cutting sword" so it makes sense why they made it so much longer

    I was watching Matthew Jensen's review of a Zombie Tools blade and the he brought up the blade's "over-built"-ness and mentioned that it's design might be intended for a dystopia where the repair tools may not be as available so accidental smacks on things might un-make the sword faster than in our current world. Could be a fair trade off for it's weight. Idk. Cool sword tho. Subscribed.

    Mad respect for you. I love your videos. The problem is as you said it is made for big men. I don't know how tall you are. I am 6 foot 1 and if I hold the handle at the Tsuba there is 5 to 6 inches between the end of the handle and my elbow

  • @ArfooHuroo
    @ArfooHuroo6 ай бұрын

    lmao i'm 5'2. I think the handle is absolutely too long for the blade length and i understand this sword is supposed to be a close quarters cleaver like all of their "tools" so it's truly... diffferent LOL. I'd compare it to a chinese "Da Dao" in function

    @ArthurWu it's a good time to be into swords. Windlass are coming out with some fantastic, accurate reproductions. I own their 1796 light cavalry sabre and I can honestly say it feels and handles much, much better than my cold steel 1796.

    I have the 1917 Sabre, it's kind of heavy though. That seem a lighter. You seem to handle it well. Just the top half should be sharp the bottom half is dull for parrying.

    You had it right when you said you have to hold it and use it like a club. The key to zombie tools blades is to view them as bludgeoning weapons. Even the D'capitan Saber, which is my perfect saber, inflicts serious bludgeoning damage.
