Uploading live recordings of bands I love. And maintaining a Favourites playlist with new stuff now and then. I upload videos to promote these artists. But of course I will take a video down if an artist is not happy with it. Please write me an email (see channel description), and don't go through KZread. Thanks. List of most concerts I've been to: www.setlist.fm/user/martinowitsch - and some travel photos: konini.de

Refreshing genuine raw voice and music!! ❤
Einfach schön!!
❤
damn, Andy set this up perfectly and then the sound guy felt left out??
Keep on rockin!!!
Great, going to watch these on Sunday in Bedford UK
@@Sjd306 it's gonna be great, enjoy, :-)
What I love so much of Martha Sways as a closer for The Party is that...there's no real catharsis. There's a slow understanding that things are a hell of a lot more complicated than the protagonist thinks. It "brings me back" makes me think he's feeling quite aware that things aren't as well as they seemed but jolts himself out of the realization. What a freaking amazing album, man, it gets better every listen!

Do you think he crafted the album deliberately to avoid catharsis, suggesting that providing such relief would misrepresent the narrative he's conveying? That's a profound interpretation if that's what you're implying.
@@Qwerty-w7k intentional? I can’t say. What I do think is that it’s pretty awesomely good at avoiding naturally pleasant closure. To You ends in humiliation, Quite Like You ends with pining after someone who’ll continuously run to their toxic relationship, Alexander All Alone is terrifying in its inescapable uncertainty. Andy really doesn’t give you happy or even sad endings. Uncomfortable is his calling card and I hope it never changes. There’s a LOT more room for creativity when the hero doesnt always win, the villain doesn’t always get their comeuppance and we the listener don’t always get answers.
@@CronoXpono Thank you for taking the time to write such a eloquent and thoughtful response. I understand perfectly now. I wasn't quite sure I understood at first since I find most of his music and story telling very cathartic.
@@Qwerty-w7k Don't let this be anything else other than my view. I'm not Andy lol I'm glad to share it because I love his music =)
@@CronoXpono It is an insightful and thought-provoking view, to say the least. I am listening with a newfound appreciation and respect. Any other bands/artists you would recommend?
Super sad he’s not coming to Europe this year.😔😢
I've seen him twice and damn it, I wanna see him during a solo trip. I think Changer is absolute sonic perfection. It is something...removed from what you can say about it, if that makes sense. The kind of melancholy that's so strong, you're almost wistfully grieving. Dude is amazing!
Brilliant band , thanks
beautiful :-)
Thanks so much for this video: paradise cinema becomes an incredible bossa nova
so ist das nunmal 🍑
very good ,touching song
Witziges Lied. Durch die Phase sind wir auch durch. :) Ich erinnere mich... Ende der 90er, A&M Records Mailorder...
I found my way back home. Oh, I’m already bored. That utterly destroys me every time.
Beautiful song by an outstanding artist Seen hamish and his band on a few occasions now Love his acoustic set too But boy live and electric its different league Thanks for posting
Hey, I enjoyed his music very much, didn't even think of him performing in electric, too. But I'll now look for some recordings :-)
He's as good as it gets.
Ship Circles
thanks :-)
Another magic set. So wonderful. I think I prefer live solo acoustic Wasted On You to the original ❤
I think the piano at the end doesnt match too much
Danke
Culk, best band ever.
My new favorite band.
Ahhh, this is Perseids off the new album
Oh, thanks! My album is still in the mail, takes a few days longer to Germany. Looking forward :-)
This is my favorite track from the record, and it sounds incredible live here. I don't think you will be disappointed once it arrives ; )
@@martinxoxoGrüße aus Essen ❤
@@thesecorridorsoftime Grüße aus Düsseldorf :-) good to see that there's more Germans here, maybe we can make them come play for us some day :-D
@@martinxoxo Das wäre super! Wäre sofort dabei :)
Andi, Andi!
Oldies Goodies and more!!! ❤❤
I’m italian, this song reminds me of a nice holiday in Germany a few years ago ❤
Yeah, that must have been a nice holiday :-)
Enjoyed Andy's performance in Central New York's - center for the arts of Homer . on 3-21-2024 one man's "Bullshit" can be others' listening pleasure. '
hach.. einfach nur schön 🥰
Saludos, .mexico
Das sehe ich genauso :-)
As good as it gets 😍
Saw this band in Lyttelton, NZ a few weeks ago and was mesmerised by their performance of Feast of Wire album - I was stood only a few feet infront of the chap who played accordion, trumpet and whistled - such energy in the room 🥰
I was once in Lyttleton, lived in Riccarton at the time, 1999. Nice place for a concert :-)
Patterns is a mastepiece!
War auch da einfach klasse

I think of a female Jeff Buckley. : )
anyone knows what those pedals are at 16:51?
That blue-ish one is the “empress ParaEQ”. The board Seems pretty minimal, maybe a tuner, compressor, delay..I recognize the orange one next to it as an electro harmonix (EHX) but not certain the effect type.
@@SunKing333 nice thanks. Wondering about his signal path, he seems to be running the acoustic through an amp aswell.
Roland Jazz Chorus. and yeah the Empress Para EQ is the only one I recognize but the chorus/vibrato sound he normally has comes from the amp.
That was great. Keep going....
I like these guy's
