  I am with an American online teaching company, full time and love it, support team is great, I charge more than $10, students will book you because they prefare you, it's all about how you present yourself (intro video) and again you need a professional friendly looking profile pic, believe me most of the students don't look at the color of your skin, you just need to sell yourself with that intro video.   Very true! Probably the best video i have seen telling it as it is! I started ESL in 2017 and i suffered the first year with rejection due to lack of experience at the time, nationality, race, and the harsh realities. I would stay online all day for days and no one would book me. I eventually got my first students the following year and yes that health insurance hahahaha ( gave me flashbacks) but nowadays i decided to relax a bit, plus you know this work can be unstable and yes, the war in Ukraine and global recession is heavily impacting. Anyway, best of luck to you!

  Last comment😂😂: I 1000% agree with what Sipho said, FAMILY DOES NOT EQUAL BLOOD!! We get hurt and betrayed by family members because they think you'll never disown them, that's so abusive. It's difficult but very necessary to treat family members how they treat you!

  6:50 is why I stopped sharing with a friend of mine. He has good intentions but you start feeling invalidated coz he'll always tell you to stop complaining or tell you that some people have it worse. Now he says I'm closed off coz I share nothing! 😂😂
