I started working at Abercrombie in 2004 when I was 18.. always wanted to be a model for them:) Mike Jeffries was genius in his whole business strategy with having everything being really attractive, white dominated with blonde hair and blue eyes in mind and he was marketing those perfect looks. When he left the company in 2014, a lesbian took over the company and basically flipped everything and made it what it is now. Extremely unattractive and the models are awful looking. It’s nothing like it’s former glory and her and the ones involved ruined the image. Essentially all the ones that could never measure up to Mikes standards and the ones that were outcasts and unpopular and unattractive, are now the ones running the company. I wouldn’t step foot back into Abercrombie now.

Wirklich amüsant wie da vor 12 Jahren schon vom leeren Schaufenstern gesprochen wurde und da war onlineshopping noch gar kein Faktor. Das Problem ist allerdings auch hausgemacht. Der Einzelhandel war zu lange untätig und das Konzept Kaufhaus ist auch schon seit Jahren obsolet.
