Aight, Thanks to this guide, I finally got one win from online matches (terrible connection but managed to win with Pokes and your advice to spend the bar with her Chainsaw). I also just realized that Roboco's missiles were sorta useless.
i dont know about you guys but i dont remember the last time i fought a korone lmao. its usually fubuki, aki and like botan
Unfortunately, even with the changes she got recently she's still far behind most of the cast. Not unplayable, but none of the patches so far have really touched on her key issues.

While I'm open to the idea of guides for other characters, the state of the game's online makes it difficult to do so. It takes me 10+ minutes to find a match sometimes, and even longer to find someone good enough to make the match worthwhile. Suisei is a very technical character, and I'm not comfortable making a guide about her without enough practice to ensure my guide is accurate.

Great vid! You can 5C > 2C for the relaunch in the corner. You can do it mid screen too after a dash but 2C is a lot easier / more consistent.
Yeah, most situation where I show something like 5M, 2H, you can do 5H 2H instead. However, I've done a lot of testing to optimize combos, and scaling in this game is kind of weird. After a certain point 5H either doesn't out-damage 5M, or only gives an extra 5-10 damage. 5H 2H is still your best raw punish, but I value consistency so I tend to prefer 5M starters.

Tip about 7:14 , if you make the opponent block a jC first the jL will hit the opponent whether they are standing or crouching due to fuzzy guard break. You can't see it in practice mode because of the lack of settings, but you can test it out with a friend. Although I'm having a hard time comboing it into chainsaw against characters like ayame though
Rising j.L hits crouching opponents even if done as a meaty. The issue is that it only combos on standing hit or counter hit. Furthermore, it's -21 on hit, so you have to do it as a forward jump or back jump j.L to not be massively punishable. Either way, you still have good strike throw, so the invisible 50/50 with rising j.L is probably going to remain as a gimmick, or a weird pseudo shimmy.
Thanks for the tip! I've been using it in the corner with Miko assist. After hard knockdown, star power assist into the set up. You can do j.C > 2A when the catch on. You don't really get a full combo but even after reset you can still do another mix.

This is going to help me greatly. I've been struggling with korone and I find it unacceptable as I want to get stronger. This, I believe will help me, just one question, what are the most practical combos during online? I feel as I can't pull some of these off, I have only been able to pull of 12-13 combo strings and now there is a realm of 30+? I'm down to learn the ways of the retro queen doggo.
The game's netcode is good enough that most combos are practical online. One of Korone's biggest issues however is that most of her damage is exclusive to the combos I've shown here. Her combo routes are powerful, but highly inflexible. I've got a couple of simpler routes, but I highly recommend practicing the harder combos in the meantime. 5M,2M,6MM,214M 2H, j.c j.M j.214L/M, 5M,22M (Jump forwards after 2H and hit jump medium) 5L, 5M, 5H, 214M 5M, 5H, 214H,dl. (delay) 5M ,22M 5M, 5H, 236S j.L/M, j.214L/M,5M,22M Trust me when I say Korone's combos aren't that bad. Just chip away at it little by little, and over time it just becomes muscle memory. It may seem daunting at first, but anybody has the capacity to do it if they put their mind to it.
