    Hi, I have a question about the difference between the Kit Atam and the Kit Lilith. It appears that the pcbs can support screw in stabilizers but the plate doesnt apear to fit them. Since you own they keyboard I was wondering if you knew anything about it.

    Adam is shorter and is flat against the table. I don't really consider these advantages nor disadvantages, as these are more preferential than not (and honestly, I prefer Lilith despite owning an Adam right now). I suppose that $10 saved is an objective plus, though. It isn't that much, however.

    really up to you, the biggest difference would be the angle and I think the number pad is not compatible with the Lilith at the moment, only for the Adam

    @@beaniekeys I hope they make a numpad for the Lilith because I have the first PCB for the Adam which isn't compatible so if they make one for the Lilith I can get it and try a south paw layout 😂😂

    Not to be an ass, but you're using those palm rests incorrectly. Wrist rest = meant for testing your wrists while NOT typing (so you hover to type) Palm rest (such as these) meant for resting your lower palm on WHILE typing. These aren't really recommended, but if you're going to use them, you need them pushed closer to the board so your lower palm is resting on them Your wrist should never have pressure on it during typing, that is pretty bad for them Edit: Actually it's really bad, not like, looking at the sun, but still, pretty bad for you for something people do so casually

  • @beaniekeys
    @beaniekeys10 ай бұрын

    Hey no worries, yeah I understand, maybe I am using it wrong. I do usually float when typing on normals boards, but the height on this board is a little high so I thought resting it down while typing would be nice! but I guess I'm using it wrong haha 😅 Thanks for pointing that out!

  • @jammies701
    @jammies70110 ай бұрын

    @@beaniekeys well resting while typing is ok! Not ideal, and not the best technique, but I do it too. Just make sure you're resting on your lower palm, not your wrist like the video shows. So your rests should be pushed up almost against the front of the keyboard, and that is ok. Personally my palm rests touch the keyboard, but they're static, not like these ones that slide. Just take the pressure off your wrist!
