  After listening this after the end of the show it kinda feels like this song is actually by rose/pink perspective that she has a big regret in a heaven for all horrible stuff she done before dying and her son had to face all consequences of her sins which she never wanted to happened

  TW: Abuse, death of a child Reading the comments.. and looking back.. I realize how much this song actually means to me. My parents divorced when I was 13, and my dad got full custody. He fell back into a smoking addiction, and abused me constantly, mainly because I was the only one old enough to have it passed as tripping on the playground, or falling up the stairs. My mother took me back in once I moved out, but I had to leave my siblings behind. I regret doing nothing, more now than ever, but after reuniting with my sister, I can only think about everything done different. Taking her and my brother out of that household, staying until I could bring them to my mom, calling EMS when I was on the floor, bleeding and crying.. it's never going to be okay, but those days are behind us. My sister is in college, I am as well, going on to be a choir director, and our little brother is happily playing in a better place. Never having my mother around from 13-17 was so hard, and it would've been so much harder for a ten year old, or a 6 year old. Steven Universe was a show that drew me in, however I've always thought as the storyline as the opposite of how my life has gone. It's an odd phenomenon... However, no matter what my mind decides to associate with this song, it will always have a place in my heart.

  This series showed the reality of growing up and taking responsibility for stuff. I'm feel very bad for everything that happened to Steven but he got stronger on soul and so is everyone else
