    Just Amazon some Chinkiang vinegar for the pantry, last for over a year. Its cheap.... very different than white or malt vinegar. Some things its worse for, some things its better on. It is less sweet, smokey, just a hint of musky Jack Daniels and mushroom taste.

    does light ss taste different than darkss?

  • @CornpopBadDude
    @CornpopBadDude2 күн бұрын

    Yes.... but no.... Light Sauce is much stronger. Dark Soy is half sauce and half syrup. It's taste 90% just like water downed light soy sauce, i think its just a bit more complex. Its called Dark because its a dark, light syrup, not because of the flavor.

    I kind of like this version of the soup as far as adding some of the proteins and things in it like the eggs and whatnot for the simple fact is you can take a bite and you can just taste all that flavor for you can be having a conversation with somebody just tastes like you're still biting the soup

    Just pulling out some of the vegetable ingredients and add again maybe a couple of flavors this seems to be an absolutely delicious marinade in my opinion

    I like while enjoying the soup attempting not to drip sweat into my soup bowl while I'm eating, I like that spice level with it sometimes when you go to the restaurant they'll refuse putting hot chilies and stuff into things I think for people complain

    If you overdo it and make your soup too sour? Can you toss in a bit of baking soda or powder

    One thing I haven't done in a while and it's making me remember it now as I see him stuff that herb bag and urban spice bag just broths made with herbs and spices oh my gosh take a nice big broth soup and then you take you maybe a small cut of beef cook that up little side of veggies maybe a bit of bread

  • @mattj340

    In my opinion if you're having problems with your stomach throw out a lot of that bread for a few days have a couple of recipes of soups and meats and vegetables some broths maybe with a protein see what happens

    Aldo can't complain here many of the ingredients are dried and storable in an organized and seemed completely safe to keep for months

  • @mattj340

    But I'm more thinking about eating on the cheap you can get tons of flavors without having without buying $50 worth of the ingredients to make a soup that you may only want to eat for a couple of days

    Anyhow if you didn't have all the ingredients you can condensed it for a more hearty soup double up maybe some ingredients where you can get away with it but also something that a lot of Americans have been missing out on is how delicious just a broth with a few proteins

    It's Hot and Sour soup. Not Meat soup. White pepper and Vinegar are pretty much the only requirements, everything else is to taste. Dried mushrooms and Egg for me is also a requirement. But that's just me.
