    Informative, this helped. interestingly enough, the ST-275 that I just got running again has a 5/16x18 SAE drive shaft on it. The Speed-Feed has an 8x1.25mm adapter to change out easily enough, and I thought it was just an oversight that they didn't have the ST-275 listed in the manual for the drive hub, until it wouldn't screw on. Got out a die set and checked it, sure enough it was SAE drive and not metric. So I made do with the original bump head for today. Would you be able to share any details of the trimmer/brush cutter gear head that you were able to connect?

    I have a Subaru EA190V pressure washer (Costco) about 5 years old and the pump blew up, and broke in half. A new pump came the next day via Amazon $60. But I could not get the pump off. I watched a ton of videos and they were not helpful. This went on for three days, I even jumping on a 5' steel prybar between the shaft and pump arm but it didn't budge it!!! Then I found your video and promptly bought the larger Harbor Freight "Pickel Fork" more commonly called a 16" Ball Joint Separator for $9.99 (best 10 bucks I spent) and in two minutes it was off. Thank you for the tip it worked like a charm. I followed your other advice and my pressure washer is working again. Good Job!!!!!!!

    The problem is a defect with the pin on the crankshaft...its can move out towards the crankcase plug. The shaft must be removed and the pin welded to the counterweight or it will come out of the counter weight agan... moving towards the crankcase plug and destroying it again.

    That sir is a Zenoah Clone saw. Wow. They are $90 all day on ebay just have crappier plastics. But they are usually the 54.5cc (58cc) cylinder. That's the smallest Zenoah cylinder. The Zenoah clones have the SAME shit filter. You can get a new intake horn & filter setup that fits it that uses a paper pleated filter. Works so much better than those nylon mesh trash.

    Just found your channel. You do great work. I like the mods you did to your tractor/atv lift. I got a 1000 lb. Lift table from Harbor Freight and modified the table after watching Bruce Pender of Bruce's Shop's KZread channel on his modification to his. He is in Canada so he lifts big snowblowers along with walk behind mowers and such. Bruce and I put a 1x2 on one end to keep from a mower from rolling off . Take a look at Bruce's channel he is a hoot to watch. Have a great day and I subscribed and will be watching you. Ray from Ohio

    I just got my little 2.0 craftsman that came with a 10" bar running. How large of a bar do you think I can use and have it function properly? I like the 10" for cutting limbs from ice and snow storms but can get a 14 inch bar for it. My saw is model 358.352020. I have other saws but being able to quickly add a larger bar and chain onto a saw that's already going would make less trips into my woods walking riding trails and easier to clean up around the tree stands. I only have 25 wooded acres so it's not like I have to carry it far.

    Love to know your thoughts on running low ash TCw3 oils in air cooled 2 strokes given your background and Do you think going to 30 thou gap on the plug stresses the coil? Thanks Dustin

  • @shaffersmallengineshop5957
    @shaffersmallengineshop59576 ай бұрын

    I am very luke warm on TC-W oils in air cooled engines, particularly in medium to large HP chainsaws. I made oils for Stihl, Husky, Poulan,Shindaiwa, Wal Mart et. al. And none wanted ashless ad packs. The hotter the engine, higher the load, the better the calcium additive packs perform vs nitrogen based water cooled packs. TC-W oils likely run just fine in blowers, weed eaters etc. API TC is not a high performance test rating for air cooled engines.

  • @shaffersmallengineshop5957
    @shaffersmallengineshop59576 ай бұрын

    No, I don’t think it stresses the coil, just produces a slightly larger spark ⚡️.
