Phenomenal stage presence and a great trick! Man I wish I had her confidence in public speaking when I was her age. Hope she keeps at it; we need more women in magic!

Such a fabulous performance for anyone, never mind a 12-year-old. Yes crimping a card will probably be obvious to the boys and certainly close up. But just a fantastic trick and so beautifully performed.

OK. So a crimp of a card was involved. But how does that help when Zoey did not know how far down in the deck the card needed to be until Teller "told" her, and the deck was out of her hands???

That was very good. For a while I thought I knew how she was going to do it but about halfway through, I thought to myself "Uh-oh! she's done something different" She fooled me but Penn & Teller obviously know more methods. I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of her.

It may be (or may be not) a simple trick... I didn't see anything sneaky or noticed anything. I'd be easily fooled. That being said... she is easily more confident and brave that most of other magicians that go there and don't dare to invite Pennm and Teller up stage. Doing close up magic to them give her a lot of credit and I'm sure she'll come up in the future and fool them

i was all prepared to hate her but she nailed it. The only slip was when she was stacking the cards and counted out two chunks. It broke her rhythm for no apparent reason, so she must have been counting.

She also use the false cut. One of the gentleman at the table assisted her. Guess which one. I'll give you a hint it wasn't Penn. That's how I saw it could have been something curling just a cartoon the middle of the deck he took from the middle of deck he knew which one was it there and signaled her. It was a setup I like it.

It's great to see that she's got the hardest part down already. Understanding that you're there to entertain is far more important (and difficult) than simply practicing tricks over and over. If she can develop a routine and create some unique tricks, success is pretty much just a matter of time for her.

Ive done card tricks for 20 years and know the "code" they are using but what i don't understand about this trick is Teller could have put any amount of cards at the top and the bottom yet somehow it was the 10th card. I typically know how everything is done and it is so rare that something stumps me so when something stumps me, it's like im seeing magic all over again. Amazing trick from this young lady.
