Building, making, fabricating is my passion as well as my occupation.
Working with wood, plastic or fabricating with metal... I love it all.
I am currently exploring the world of digital fabrication with my CNC router.
The possibilities seem endless...and a CNC machine is versatile tool to have in the shop.
Learning new skills is a huge part of growing as a person, and this includes skills in the workshop
as well as outside... such as "learning how to build a KZread channel to share
my projects with others.
I sincerely hope you the viewer find my videos inspiring, and useful in helping
you build your own projects.

Good work Homie. Thanks for simple but concise editing!
Thanks for watching, it was a video that had to be made 😆
Looks nice man 😁
Amazing and thorough! Thank you so much
Most of the design is solid. The only thing I would modify is to add a mechanism to set the plane of the work surface perpendicular to the the blade. Not sure though, maybe that turnbuckle does that. The pivot is clever. If you change the design to metal and decide to use square tubing at that pivot, oversize the bolt holes and use round tubing with an ID suitable for the bolt as a crushtube to take the clamp load off the square tube walls. I'd probably change the design to a completely toolless pivot, and use something like a fluted knob available from Carr-Lane.
Thank you!
I'm dyslexic and for years have been trying to wrap my head around using a laser level. Your explanation and homemade level system made it all click. You Thank. 🤪 👍
looks good
Luv it just in wood- easy does it for me.
Can u show one doing it on the ground! Please bro my job counts on it. We do.over under on the ground because sometimes it's 400 feet of cable
Excellent, you just gave me a grand idea on how to prep my bandsaw up, great work, looks really pro.
Thank you. I am going to try this when i get home. My step father is a contractor and he said "NUH UHH PUT IT DOWN! YOU'RE JUST GOING TO TWIST THE CORD!" (gently chastised me) haha. I cant really hear what youre saying in the video because we're at the campground and its very noisy. Im guessing this helps to not twist extension cords etc correct? I want to learn because of this incident but he wont teach me 😅😅 hes a busy guy. I hsually only use short extension cords (10 feet), but i have some ethernet cables i need to learn how to wrap those as well.
Yes it helps eliminate the twist
why would you do it in steel thats brilliant, and is exactly what im going to do
It is still working perfect, thanks
well done, sir - much appreciated👊
Great tips! Thanks.
I use a millermatic cst 280 stick/tig with a miller radio controlled foot pedal and I love this set up no cord.
And here we have ANOTHER PROFESSIONAL CORD WRAPPER!!
@@fitzwilly7132 no, just a guy sharing a good technique he learned.

Nice examples of working smarter. Nice drafting on the diagram!
Hey, thanks a bunch. I recently bought a laser and haven't really used it yet but this helps a great deal. I enjoy and appreciate people like yourself who take the time to make these videos and make them practical and easy to understand. Good quality on the video and audio as well, gracias!

Are there any good ways of using sole material scraps from shoe making…?
That Pissburgh accent makes me miss home and goin dahntahn on the weekends. Solid review too!
I would love a pattern making video! I’m hoping to make a pair for myself, moving on from wallets and bags and leather penguins for my daughter

Very useful demonstration and information. Thanks for sharing.
Спасибо, это чудесно. 👏😁
Tandy leather has a pattern. Yeah. Not. Cheap. Talk about non traditional leather tools. I would have to put serious ARCH SUPPORTS in mine
Clear and to the point. Bravo
You have a wonderful workshop you can tell you enjoy your hobby. Your videos are excellent color is great but if you would add a little narration to your videos, you would up your videos 100% great job. Keep up the work.
Can your big toe feel the edge of the sole, at the tip? I think maybe I’d go for a bigger size, but because they look so soft, I suppose you do have to fill them !
Yes there is still a bit of toe room, like with normal shoes
Very useful to see these strength tested, thanks! I use them to splice cctv cables and automotive where the cable isn't going to see much strain. In either event I take a good length of heavy duty adhesive-lined shrink tube and apply over the top (I give about 4cm of clearance either side) to give some extra strength, extra waterproofing and make them look tidy. If you splice an 8-core CAT5e cable using the smallest diameter solder connectors and stagger them in pairs, then cover with a good length of heavy duty adhesive lined heat shrink to match the cable colour, the signal degradation is no worse than an inline RJ45 connector and from only a few feet away you have to look carefully to even see that they've been joined.
nice thanks man this is very well demonstrated
You’re welcome

Wished I had a pair like that is size 13.

Just seen your video, that is so kool!

😊
what's the black surface on your metal table? thank you
It is a polyethylene sheet of plastic, about 1/16 thick. It makes a good surface to cut on with a utility knife
I'm a contractor and DIYer. I watch thousands of videos per year. I leave on average about 1 positive comment on KZread per year. You are this year's positive comment.
Well thank you, I am flattered
This Vid is why I love youtube! Been looking to buy a 360 degree laser, but, now I am going to use my simple bosch laser and check level using this dude's example. Brian thank you for taking the time and effort to video this process! Helps a lot of us homeowners and DIY'ers fix and level things!
You’re very welcome, I enjoy making videos that can help people, Lord knows. I’ve watched enough KZread myself to learn something I didn’t know to do
They're so cool looking :) A simple shoe.
Pattern video, please and thanks.
