Mine are also very low/quiet on my a7siii when using the adapter. I can’t figure out how to crank up the input to the camera…

I'm surprised Sony didn't advertise the A9iii as a predominantly video camera as it's really a supercharged A7Siii but with photo added on. Global shutter means its a cinema camera since it records like a film camera. The only other viable global shutter competitor is the Red Raptor 8k which is around $20K

I tried a similar sized Manfrotto (a brand I really like for durability and use regularly) but it was too heavy for travel when every ounce counts (carry-on only). Exchanged for Cyanbird with carbon fiber and much happier with it, and does everything I need for the times I want a tripod shot or video. Remarkably light. Thanks for the review.

Is it timeless? Meaning if I invest in this will I be able to use it say ten years from now? Like lenses which pretty much last a lifetime if you will. Im thinking about the need for apps that gets outdated ie. Can it be used independently? Seems like all features are built in within the tripod?

How would you compare it to the Tenba Axis V2 32L? I'm looking for maximum volume, depth, and less airline pain when they see it on my back, also the added expansion of the front compartment seems nice when I need to put clothes/food/stuff that is not photography related.

For a Kodak item, seems pretty janky the way the negative moves around. It should hold it much better. Seems like mediocre quality.

I am very new to video production. Currently I set up large boxing/UFC events with a lot of moving heads. The last event we got a few projectors and used the computer hdmi out and fed the projectors. It worked great. The question I have is can I use the output from this video switcher to a HDMI splitter and feed multiple projectors ? Or is something else needed? If so how or what is needed...Thanks

Just came across your KZread channel and I’ve loved it so far. Great review and thank you for the intensive tests as I am considering getting this camera instead of the Sony a7IV. I think your videos could be much more appealing and get more views if you try to add more “character” to the background. ¡Great work!

Does it record all active channels like the ATEM ISO or only Program source?

Not a bad design - I particularly like the "origami divider", but otherwise, it's merely a re-hash of what I remember having back in the eighties for my Nikon F4. Is it outstanding ? No, but it has ample room for a Mirrorless, plus lens. I own other Vanguard carriers, so I cannot doubt the build quality. I'd purchase this for someone who is just starting out in photography/videography.

I have a Canon EOS, I thought it would be fine for video. Until I filmed a live music show in a dark theater. The continuous autofocus sucked, it kept hunting all over the place. Had to switch to manual. I sooo missed having a zoom rocker. If I wanted to zoom in or out while recording, forget it. It was jerky and crap. So you'd have to pause recording, zoom in or out then start again. Then as you said, focus was also a pain zooming. Parfocal is so much nicer. Long story short. I found a used JVC 4k cam for $600 and it's so much nicer to use for video than my DSLR. The DLSR has its place for photos, but that's what it's designed for. Video is an afterthought. If you need to do video, get a real video camera. My 2 cents.

What setting are you used? when in camera zv-e10 setup audio rec level on +20 i have good audio and when i connect using hot shoe i can't hear anything the sound is very quiet, even if i setup all audio in dji mic 2 on +12 for all 🤷♂

I recently picked up a Digital Betacam broadcast camera, just for fun. It's only Standard Definition but it's a great place to learn how to use this kind of kit for very little cost. And it certainly gets you noticed.

Thank Sold out Media for such a DETAILED review of Sony A9III. The one thing that is missing is you did not test the NON FLICKERING feature when photography TVs, or commercial displays of the lights. They say global shutter helps tremendously in those situations.

Boadcast Cameras also have much longer Battery life and also no heat problem also broadcast Camcorders has no Record limitation also Broadcast Camcorders has no Rolling shutter issues on fast pan

It was a serious mistake to stick with the kit lens here, if you're even mentioning it at the same time as an R5 with a 24-70 f2.8. All the complaints early in the video about control rings are about the kit lens, not the R7. I also wanted some discussion of R7 performance at high ISO vs the R5. One thing I do is birds in flight, which demands high shutter speed, and often means high ISO even shooting subjects in sunlight.
