In the meantime, many of the new features are addressed in specific tutorials centered around new features. You can find those tutorials here: kzread.info/head/PLjBWE90Quu08mebeBITbKN7swTN9X6CXq&si=CJmgIeFTswVfScQK The Smart Shooter 5 Lightroom Classic Plug-In does allow for any supported camera to be controlled in Lightroom Classic. However, the Lightroom Classic framework does not currently allow for Live View to be passed into the tethering interface. Therefore, we recommend switching back over to Smart Shooter 5 while the session is running in Lightroom Classic in order to view Live View from the camera. The D-Tap to AC Power Supply will be about to output up to 85W when connected directly to a D-Tap plug in the battery. When connected to a V-Mount accessory that has independent D-Tap plugs, the output will increase up to 120W. If connected to an AC Power Supply Car Adapter (12V Lighter Socket), output will increase up to 200W. Please keep in mind that continuous power consumption at or near the maximum output can trigger temperature circuit protection in either the battery or the AC Power Supply. Therefore, we recommend continuous power consumption well below the maximum output for the setup. Hopefully that information is helpful.

Make one for Manfrotto RC2 plate please. Manfrotto tripod users have been ignored for far too long
Your suggestion has been noted and passed on to our product development team! For now, you can use any non-arca plate with the ¼" - 20 thread on the bottom of the LeverLock.
L-plate for GFX please
Thank you for the suggestion, we will pass it along to our product development team.
I was today years old when I learned that I could use the collar on my 50-140 to rotate the camera from H to V. Thanks for the great video.
Anytime! Happy to hear that.
Make that for a Manfrotto RC4 plate and I'll buy 10 of them.
Noted! Thanks for the feedback.
Great, when will this be available?
The LeverLock is currenty available. You can find more information here: tethertools.com/product-category/cable-management/leverlock/
Vertical tethering options please
@benhurbogi16 thanks for the comment. You are able to rotate the monitor from landscape to portrait position using our Vu monitor bracket.
Can't get my A7R5 to connect in LrC or Imaging Edge :(
We are sorry to hear you are having difficulty with the connection. There are a number of possible explanations for this issue, but it is always a good idea to first confirm that the camera is set up properly for tethering. Therefore, please confirm the following settings on camera: (Setup) → USB → USB Connection Mode: PC Remote (Setup) → USB → USB LUN Setting: Multi (Setup) → USB → USB Power Supply: OFF If that does not resolve the issue, we would be happy to troubleshoot this and to help get you up and running on your setup. Please reach out to [email protected] so that we can further assist you.
Do you have to create a new qr code for each student
Each QR code will contain specific information. If you wanted images of each student to be named with the student name, then you would need an individual QR for each student.
And where's the raw file transfers, that would be a real test.
Video at 1:41 says you can us android or IOS to display pictures on TV, can you do a Video this setup?
Hi Lawrence, this part of the video mentions being able to do this with the wireless connection using Case Air, which we've discontinued. We have cable tethering options, and it is possible to cable tether to an iPad.
this is so cool
thank you!
this is really cool. I have never shot tethered but I want to because I don't like using the back panel to "see" if the images was good. I'm currently in school for photography in Houston
Excellent! Do you cover tethering in your photography course? If you're new to tethering, definitely take a look at starting out with our Starter Tethering Kit - tethertools.com/product/starter-tethering-kit/? - OR the Pro Tethering Kit that includes more - tethertools.com/product/pro-tethering-kit-tables/?

We have two batteries available and we don't have any information to provide on new versions of either battery. However, the 100W version has been updated to 150W, and maintains the same physical size. The dimensions for each are: ONsite USB-C 30W PD Battery Pack (9600 mAh) - Dimensions: W 1.8” x H 4.5”x D 1” (45.7×114.3×25.4mm) ONsite USB-C 150W PD Battery Pack (25,600 mAh) - Dimensions: W 7″ x H 3″ x D 1″ [177.5×79.5×22.5 mm]

We're using a Samsung TV here, but you can use any TV or monitor you have.
Hi, I'm hesitating to buy smart shooter (I'm an amateur and I work with a canon m6 mkii). I don't understand why you have to disable live view to see the photos you've taken. Why is it not possible to have the live view and the preview of the last photo taken at the same time? Thank you
Thanks for the comment. We just sent you an email regarding this. However to summarize this here: You should absolutely be able to view the Live View and Preview windows simultaneously. It is important to note that you would need to access Live View in a dedicated Live View window, not using the "LV" icon in the Preview window. If you continue to experience the issue, please respond to the email we sent so that we can troubleshoot this futher.

Why doesn't this come in lengths longer than 11"?
We do offer arms in longer lenghts. Check out our Master Articulating Arm - tethertools.com/product/rock-solid-master-articulating-arm/. If you have any other questions please let us know.
Can you import a file to use as the overlay?
Yes - absolutely! In Smart Shooter 5, you can do this in any of the Live View windows (View → Live View 1-4). If you click on the gear icon in the top left of the window, you will see the Image Overlay section at the bottom of the fly-out window. In that section, you can use the "Select Image" button to load an image as an overlay. You can then use the "Show Overlay" button to toggle on/off the visibility of the image, and use the slider to control the opacity of the image. Hope that helps!
@@Tethertools helps a lot. I will be testing you software and hopefully incorporate it into my work.
@@VladimirLadev Glad to know that helped. Please let us know if any other questions come up.
How would you meter both of those light to meter them correctly with this set up
This is the best video on volume photography I’ve seen. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great presentation and results. I am old school and I notice when you change the power of the key light by going up 1 stop are you changing the aperture by 1 stop to ensure the exposure is correct? I don't see you using a light meter or talking about your adjustments to your settings like aperture. What focal length, aperture, shutter speed and ISO are you shooting at? Do you make adjustments by looking at your tethered laptop? Thanks again.
Super helpful -- thank you!
You're welcome!
great video thank you for sharing your knowledge. I do have a question. When you bring in them for composite do you size the first image and as you bring the others in do you scale them to the same size of the first image
Answering on behalf of Michele: We often zoom in for different poses. We offer our families more than one image - so we make sure the first one is perfect for the school and yearbook and then we can zoom in for various crops and expressions.
