    Are those sensors aftermarket or oem original? I have bought aftermarket’s will this tool work?

  • @CleverFix
    @CleverFixКүн бұрын

    They're Autel MX sensors, so they are aftermarket. The TS508 supports both 315MHz and 433MHz frequencies, so it depends what frequency the car needs. Each car needs a specific type of sensor, so the most important to is to order the correct sensor, otherwise the car and the tool won't recognize it. To be sure the TS508 will work, you can contact Autel here: autel.com/us/contact/ I believe just by telling them the car model, they will know.

    This radio came in my car so im looking and found this video as to WHY? My phone works just fine thru bluetooth but you can forget GPS, Music like Spotify and so on. You say a ground has to be hooked to the parking brake but what good are these features then? cant run around with the brake on! What a useless POS this thing is. What other source can this wire be hooked to so it on all the time?

    Check the maintenance schedule from the Toyota website, you can google "toyota corolla maintenance schedule". For US it's a different schedule than Canada actually, and that link I replied earlier was for Canada. If you Google you can find the one for your country. As far as I know for the 2014 Corolla, it's 100,000miles or 10 years for the first coolant change, and after that it has to be replaced more often, 50,000miles or 5 years. Age is just as important as mileage because fluids break down over time. Thanks for watching!

    Hi, thanks. I wasn't getting much positive feedback on that video, .. some people had trouble removing the fill bolt, and lots didn't like the weighing method, so I decided to re-do it, but I haven't finished editing. This video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gKqItdGweqrOhdI.html is pretty much the same thing. He's using this big tube for re-filling, which is probably expensive though. I found that a Measu-Funnel works nicely for refilling, it can be found on Amazon, fairly cheap. The wheel well has to be clean though, to prevent dirt falling in, because the tube is a bit short. I was really happy with it though, the big funnel speeds things up compared to the tiny funnel I was using before. I ended up doing 4 drain & fills, and I can really tell the difference now.. The Corolla is 10 years old now so it needed it. Hopefully I'll finish the new one in a few days, I'm trying to find a good microphone at the moment.

    Would you recommend using one of those radiator cleaners and then flushing with distilled water? Or do you think it will end up causing the new coolant to dilute?

  • @CleverFix
    @CleverFix17 күн бұрын

    If the coolant came out clean, and there are no signs of rust, scale, or contamination, then it's likely that there is nothing to flush. Flushing can introduce water into the system, potentially diluting the new coolant and altering the antifreeze ratio, which is crucial to prevent the engine from freezing in winter. If there's a coolant system problem you're trying to solve by doing the flush, I recommend consulting with a professional mechanic. They can inspect your coolant system, test the coolant, and give you a proper recommendation.

The purpose of disconnecting the middle brake light wire behind the panel, is to be able to remove the package tray, without breaking it. The package tray has the middle brake light build into it, so pulling on the tray can break that wire, if it's not disconnected first. Hope that helps!
