Wonder if we can just go to Margaritaville for restaurant?
Excellent question! Yes, you can absolutely visit the resort to dine at any of the restaurants, bars, etc. We highly recommend lunch at 5 o’clock somewhere & dinner at JWB. However, if you want to visit the pool, you would need to buy a day pass. Thanks for watching ☺️
Great video. Could I just ask though, when you said they will organise free transport for you to anywhere, does that include to Universal and Disney too?
Thank you so much for watching ☺️ Yes! MOR offers transportation to all the Orlando theme parks! You just need to make reservations 25 hrs in advance. We rented a car the first stay, but utilized the shuttle on our most recent stay, video coming soon but you can read more about their shuttle here: www.margaritavilleresorts.com/margaritaville-resort-orlando/things-to-do/transportation
Is your room a pool view or lake view? Or would it be the same thing?
Great question! Our room was a Lake View Room with a King bed at the hotel. Our room also offered views of the main hotel pool, but there are 2 hotel pools and 5 additional pools throughout the resort property if you are staying at the timeshare. However, there really is no bad “view.” We watched the skyliner and Epcot’s fireworks from our lake view room on the “backside” of the hotel, but you could also have a view of the Waldorf Astoria golf course on the “front” side of the building! The property is so beautiful and a true hidden gem in Orlando!
Our Absolute Favorite Restaurant in the area.
Glad to hear you like it here too! Thanks for watching ☺️
When are you going to post again? And if you don’t stay in seiverville county, where are you going?
Thanks for watching James ☺️ We are working on our most recent vlogs now, but we were recently in Orlando, FL. Have you ever been?
@@Bucation Yes I have actually, it was for Disney world, but anyways, have fun on your trip!
@JamesBricksStudios1 thank you so much ☺️
Were now leaving that place so I watched this
Tough hike for beginners but completely worth it.

This is where I go once a year I am leaving tomorrow to fly their!
Thanks for watching ☺️ have a fabulous trip & safe travels ❤️
This looks like a lot of fun. I love to try different drinks
It was a BLAST! If you ever get the chance, we hope you have as much fun as we did ☺️
I think people expect southern style breakfast here, but she's more gourmet with a southern twist. Her unusual items on the menu are the best items. Her basic items are just that, basic ;) I love it for her unusual flair, but we make basic southern breakfast every morning at home ;) Applebarn or even Flapjacks is the best in the area IMO.
Thanks Zoe. It’s great to hear ours was a unique experience and not the norm. Our biggest issue was that everything at Paula’s was served cold and flavorless which we found odd since they had just opened and we were the first group seated.
We will have to add Flapjacks to our list also! Thanks for the recommendation ☺️
We've always had great experiences at Paula Deens for breakfast. They now have the biscuits again and not the cinnamon rolls ;) I guess it's seasonal. We prefer Applebarn over the Old Mill.
Thanks Zoe! We have yet to try Applebarn, but it’s on our list for both breakfast and dinner.
I'm going to guess that Jared is a Scorpio and Janine is a Cancer.
Nope! Guess again ☺️
@@Bucation Jared is a Sagittarius and Janine is a Pisces.
Wrong again 😉 try again!
@@Bucation I give up. Just tell me your actual signs.
This was fun ☺️ Janine is a Leo and Jared is a Taurus
Happy New Year! I love your Margaritaville videos, will you be doing a whole video?
Thank you so much Jennifer ☺️ Yes, stay tuned for a vlog series covering this whole week in Pigeon Forge! Wishing you a healthy, safe & Happy New Year 🫶
@@Bucation awesome 👏 enjoy your holiday
Wishing you a very happy, healthy, and safe New Year's!
Thank you so much ☺️ Happy, healthy & safe New Year to you & yours too 🫶
And a short hop to St Barth's! C'est chic!
Yes! The perfect day trip 💙
Sausage patty deep dish pizza from Gino's East. Chicago hot dog from Byron's at Irving Park road. Breaded steak sandwich with cheese no garni from Ricobene's. Dipped Italian beef sandwich from Al's. Trinidads from Fannie May.
Thank you so much for adding to our list! We will be spending a lot of time in Chicago in 2024, and these all sound like absolute must-try’s 😋
@@Bucation Chicago aka Second City is befittingly the number two foodie city in the US! (NOLA is number one!) And during Summer, Taste of Chicago at Grant Park is fantastic, and also the free Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO) performances at that park too. There's so much to explore especially the lakefront and riverwalk! And fantastic architecture, best urban architecture in the US! During winter, stay warm using the underground passages in the Loop! For convenience, I prefer staying in the Loop or North Michigan avenue. The rooms at the Four Seasons (enter on Delaware, take the lift to reception on level 7) are small but the spa is lovely with a swimming pool! The Ritz Carlton at Water Tower Place has much larger rooms. There are many many other 4* hotels to choose from at very affordable rates unless there's a large trade show. I've seen a lot of changes over the decades but always enjoyed my visits and especially the food! Looking forward to watching your Chicago experiences!
@denizalgazi thank you so much for all of the tips ☺️ The Riverwalk was by far our favorite space & we’ll definitely be spending more time there but we can’t wait to explore more of Chicago’s famous foods next year 🙌
You forgot,put on a bullet proof vest😊
And if you go down to South Beach, avoid the bars, restaurants, and shops around Ocean Drive which is the tourist armpit of SoBe! Instead, nip to the Lincoln Road Promenade between Washington Ave and Alton Road which is the true heart of South Beach. I'd recommend The Delano hotel but it has not reopened yet. Breakfast on their poolside terrace was always lovely there.
Thank you so much ☺️ we love a good meal poolside! Hoping to hit South Beach on a future visit for the half marathon.
Love it!useful masterpiece!
Thanks ☺️
This is great, thank you. Especially the hints, tips and hacks at the end.
Thank you so much for watching Cameron ☺️ we hope you make it to Margaritaville soon! Safe travels 🫶
I can't wait to try this place next week!
You are going to LOVE IT!!! Are you going for breakfast lunch or dinner?
@@Bucation I'm guessing lunch
Fantastic! You’ll have to let us know what you order & your thoughts. We can’t wait to return!
It’s free breakfast for all guests :)
Yes! Such an incredible perk that is not to be missed. Wish we had known that early on in our cruise 😋
We were super disappointed with stk at Disney springs. This STK has such good reviews on Google which didn’t reflect our experience at all. The place is soooo loud and the food was so bland/bad. Feels like they are gaming their reviews on Google as the OpenTable and others gave it very mediocre socres
Izumi and Giovanni my favorite
Two fantastic options! You really can’t go wrong with either ☺️ thanks for watching!
I couldn’t cope with that karaoke. What a way to ruin a lovely relaxing pool day 😭
Believe it or not, It was very entertaining for the short time it lasted. There are also plenty of other pools you could relax at, like the quiet pool where there are no daily activities.
"promosm" 😅
Do they give you breakfast or any kind at the hotel? WhSt area are y’all from?
Excellent question! Breakfast is not included with your stay at Margaritaville Island Hotel, but we were told the other hotel on The Island, Margaritaville Island Inn includes a complimentary breakfast. We went to Paula’s because it smelled amazing from our balcony & we were fans of her cooking shows way back in the day. We’re from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ☺️
There’s a channel you’d love (after seeing the griswold thing 😂) It’s called , super dude. They are going across the US in an ugly station wagon with kids currently. 😂
It’s super dude (one word) can’t get it to type. I live on NC side of smokies in cherokee area. I rarely go that way anymore, it’s gotten so busy! Looks fun though!
OMG!!! Thank you so much. We need to check them out 🫶
We are hoping to explore Cherokee on our next visit. A friend told us it’s a beautiful place that we can’t miss - any recommendations?
Take road along river to bryson city. It is connected, just a couple miles. Darnell farms has music (check schedule) corn maze fall produce etc. bryson city has great smoky mountain railroad (need to make reservations). If you take train, take route that goes over lake fontana to NOC) the one to dillsboro is okay but not as pretty. Cute downtown area. Deep creek has nice trail with loop with many waterfalls thst is right in town and convenient. I use to walk there all the time , so pretty. Cherokee has a co op where you can buy handmade items by Cherokee qualla co op, it’s next to museum on the main strip. There’s a living history musuem up the hill by the outdoor theater (that’s also good) into these hills. Bjs burger is in an old trailer on river and is a great burger, sit outside on water nothing fancy but good. Casino is full of Places to eat. In bryson city, there’s a sandwich shop on Main Street , Dillon station for lunches very good. Id probably stay at hotel in bryson city, unless you staying at casino. Depends on what you are looking to Do. Ery layed back area, Mostly outdoor stuff. Noc has rafting. Deep creek has camping n thst teail that’s a must fizz it’s a loop with many waterfalls.
Were you coming up from? Georgia from atlanta area or ..haywood smokehouse has great bbq. Won best bbq award from yelp in America which means best texas etc. original location in waynesville, then dillsboro (close to cherokee) and frankin (not far from ga border if coming up that way).
I rather eat at waffle house, her food not that good
You can never go wrong with Waffle House 👍👍
I been to this restaurant a lot and I can tell u its hit or miss... when its good its really good but if it's a bad day its not even worth thinking about lol
Thank you so much for sharing that Brian ❤️ that gives us hope that next time it will be a hit 🤞🤞
@@Bucation it might help if you visit the Moonshine Distillery first LOL
Great advice 🤣🤣🤣
I would not recommend Paula Dean's for Breakfast nor Lunch. We had breakfast at Pigeon Forge location. Service was ok, but food was over salty. Did not like the bacon. Be better if they cooked it like normal bacon rather than their own receipt. Had lunch in Nashville, TN location. Meatloaf and chicken & Dumplings were extremely salty. My daughter did not think it was possible to ruin the taste of Chicken Dumplings. It woud have been better if we went to Crackle Barrel for Chicken & Dumplings. Waited to be seated at both locations for at least 30 minutes which we were ok with, but the cooking of the food needs improvement. We wont return after giving them 2 chances and leaving disappointed each time.
Thank you so much for sharing ❤️ it’s very hard to season restaurant food right for all palates, especially if you have health issues that require you to limit sodium, but we completely agree. We’d prefer food be cooked to taste and then let the customer add more seasoning as they wish. Thanks for watching ☺️
The Old Mill has the best breakfast
Thank you for sharing Patty ❤️ stay tuned for a meal at The Old Mill ☺️
click bait
Thanks for watching Carl ☺️ have a beautiful week
Apple Barn is the best place to go 😊
Yes Dennis!!! But are you Team Farmhouse Restaurant or Team Applewood Grill? 🍎🏡
Just curious ---At the beginning of the video ( --1:18--) you said it was Monday August 29th --- So this video was made a year ago? Are you posting it now for clicks? Seems rather disingenuous.
Yes, this video like all of our videos in the Pigeon Forge series, was made in 2022. Thanks for watching ☺️
Was the ride as scary as soaring?
We can totally see why you would think Soarin’ is scary because it does feel like you are flying from the suspended apparatus, but SkyFly’s ride system was not scary at all! It felt like the whole theater itself was elevated instead. Janine has a fear of heights and she can get anxious on Soarin’ but she had no issues on this. Overall, it was very fun and we highly recommend it ❤️
Do you need a car or can you walk every where?
There is a trolly that can take you around Pigeon Forge, but The Island is very walkable if you are able.
Thanks for your honesty. Im glad I found this vlog and we dont have to waste our money here.
Thanks for watching ❤️ Our experience was our own, and perhaps the kitchen was having an off day, so We hope you’ll use our video to make an informed decision about where to grab breakfast in Pigeon Forge
Apparently my message got cut off & I can edit! …continuing with my message: Food served was nothing special. I would rather go to a decent steak house in the area(for dinner), then go to the show. I don’t recommend Paula Dean’s restaurant, over rated. *service was good
Thank you so much for sharing ❤️ We agree that the service was very good. We absolutely adored our server Carol, and she gave us some great tips on the area, but as you said - we’d much rather go somewhere else for the money.
This summer, we visited Paula Dean’s restaurant in Tennessee, by the Grand Ol’prey. It is an over r
Our breakfast at Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen was sadly a bit lackluster when it came to the food, but our server Carol was fantastic. If we do return, it won’t be for breakfast. What’s your favorite breakfast spot in Pigeon Forge?
I’ve never really been a fan of her restaurant even in savannah, this… I’ve never been! Been by there… looked… not impressed. Im older though and was on the bandwagon when she first became popular. I got her cookbooks! Then… nah. Anyway… I’ve been hearing this from other people. You’re saying whSt a lot are saying.
Thank you for sharing ❤️ it’s really a shame. We were the only people in the place the whole time, and now we’re starting to realize why 😬
Did you say breakfast was $60.99?
The cost is $16.99 per adults ages 11 & up (plus tax & coffee or juice). Kids ages 3-5 are $4.99 and kids ages 6-10 are $10.99. Hope that helps ☺️
Is she going to do all the talking
Thanks for watching Sherry ☺️
I new watcher and I think I heard you say on video that it was August 29th. I am confused because it is August 20th today. I think back in the 80s and 90s Paula Deen was in her prime, but controlling the quality of a restaurant is near impossible if you are not present to oversee it. Thank you for showing the restaurant and being honest.
Thanks for watching Don! This vlog is from August 29th of 2022. Sorry for the confusion! You are absolutely right about Paula being in her prime in the 80s and 90s. We were big fans of hers back then, but as you said - it’s very hard to run a restaurant period but then not being on site makes it even more difficult. We absolutely loved Emeril’s Chop House here in the Philadelphia area, but sadly it has gone down hill and a lot of it has to do with Emeril no longer managing the restaurants, just licensing his name. We may return to Paula’s for dinner on our next visit, but there are just too many other delicious breakfast spots in Pigeon Forge that we need to try!
@@Bucation I will be watching those future videos. Thank you for the information. Blessings for more good eats!!🍅🍋🎂🍷🍻🍅
@donsumner9268 thank you so much for the kind words & thank you for traveling along with us! We’re so glad you’re here ❤️
I have never eaten at a Paula Deen establishment but everyone I know who has have said the same thing. It's over rated. Food is pretty much sub-par & not what you expect. When I want grits, I just want a bowl of grits. Don't try to pretty 'em up with no peppers & onions. I would choose McDonalds over Paula Deen every day of the week.
Thanks Pat! After we ate here, everyone we ran into told us not to eat here. Wish we had heard that before we went! You’re exactly right about the grits. It’s not grits if you have to add all that fancy stuff! thanks for watching ☺️
We love Paula Deans never had a bad meal there but we never get the breakfast.
@lillyrowe4820 thank you for sharing & that’s great to hear! We are very interested in trying dinner.
We have camper for only reason our dogs so carry with us anywhere they at home .
That is our dream! We’d love to have a camper to bring our dogs everywhere.

@TheGatlinburgHussey thank you so much! We need to go on a hike together. Were enjoying your Mr. Le Conte vlog!
We had the best time at Margaritaville in Pigeon Forge! What’s your favorite Margaritaville restaurant location & menu item?
Margaritaville Atlantic city is fun and they have a landshark bar too
AC is a fin-tastic Margaritaville 🦈🆙
Can you tell us how much is valet parking? Do you tip on top? If so please tell me. I wanna tip well.
Excellent question! Complimentary Parking is available for free on The Island, but that can be a haul for anyone with mobility issues or a lot of stuff to carry. Valet parking is $14.00 USD per night + tax and totally worth it in our opinion. We were able to come and go as much as we wanted, and our car was always waiting for us when we called. For valet parking, it is recommended you tip between $2-$5 but we always tip at least $3. In this instance, our valets at Margaritaville were so helpful with tips on The Smoky Mountain National Park and where to eat in the area that we were tipping around $5 each.
