To many spoilers for it to be a series trailer. If I was trying to get someone to watch the show, that hasn't seen it, defiantly wouldn't show them this. But other than that, awesome job, would recommend to anyone who has seen the show, and am sending the link to a couple of people I know will also love it.

The original movie was awesome! Then came the lame TV show that ruined it all. As if we don’t have enough programs for normies. It’s a shame it could have been a campy masterpiece for everyone to enjoy. 🗑️

I can't believe they want to reboot it. That's just WRONG. It was perfect the first time you can't put different people in those roles and expect it to be better or even as good

the writters already stated they realize now that they can never replace the cast, there's only 1 willow.....1 Xander etc. soooo naturally rather the next series is a complete reboot or an actual continuation, they've alreay promised NOT to recast the same old characters with same names.

Amazing! I've been a fan of this show since it aired and I was in elementary school. I'm 34 now and it's still my favorite show of all time. Great job on this trailer, the chosen clips plus the music is beautiful.

Thanks for the kind words. It's great to hear that you liked it. I was actually planning to delete the whole trailer from my channel because I never felt that I did good enough job with it and put it out too early. But maybe I keep it after all.

Very cool! I especially love it starting at 2:00, the Miss Kitty Fantastico shot is genius! :D It's just a shame you used 2 different aspect ratios, you should've either cropped the widescreen seasons to 4:3 or the early ones to 16:9 for this trailer. But nice job anyhow ;) Using the Restless quote to finish was perfect, I personally would've ended the trailer there.

Thanks for the comments! :) I had planned to zoom in -or stretch all the seasons 1-3 footage, to fit in with the later seasons widescreen aspect. But when I reminded myself of how much I despise those "hd remastered" versions... I just couldn't go and do it.

@@mikkolintunen4750 Well stretching would've been worse, but careful cropping for a trailer is fine, you're not cropping the actual episodes! I did it for my trailer years ago, and I was happy with it: kzread.info/dash/bejne/YquYs5mQh7nRh7A.html&t= Just don't crop automatically in the center, go up or down depending on the framing ;)

@@mikkolintunen4750 Seasons 4-7 weren't supposed to be widescreen either. That was a decision made (against Whedon's wishes) for the region 2 PAL DVD's. The region 1 NTSC DVD's are 4:3 through the whole series, as intended. Using the region 1 source would have made the most sense. Also with the PAL version being 4½ sped up as was typical of PAL conversions. Not saying the region 2 version is as bad as the HD version, but it's not the proper version.

Yes, but my point was to show that there is a proper widescreen versions allready for later seasons. These "hd" versions do lot of unnecessary cropping and image repositioning, even thought theres allready proper widescreen masters exist. Besides, seasons 4-7 were not maybe intended to be shown in widescreen format (because everyones tvs were 4:3), but even all the special effects (for seasons 4-7) were done on for future widescreen -releases on mind for widescreen (unlike in seasons 1-3) , so that makes them proper and functional versions.

@@mikkolintunen4750 I can off the top of my head name two shots in Restless alone that are noticeably ruined by the widescreen version. The Initiative in the bathroom, you can see off the set, ruining the illusion. The cheese man in the desert, he's in frame before he leans in, ruining the timing of the gag. The only Buffy episode that was framed with widescreen in mind was Once More, With Feeling. However, I believe Angel went proper widescreen in season 2 or 3 (if 2, it was a decision made part way into shooting the season, as there are framing errors in the beginning of the season).
