Lyrebird Media

Lyrebird Media music and film production: aka Mairéid Sullivan and Ben Kettlewell.

Our Totem is the Lyrebird.
The Lyrebird sings everyone's song!
Lyrebirds memorize the songs of others; singing elaborate songs and sounds of birds, mammals, and humans, in Australia's forests.

Words and images make up the symbolic structure of how we create our reality as individuals, cultures and as a species.

We believe in the power of media to contribute to great social change. Our goal is to bring human history to life in meaningful ways in order to promote economic justice for all.

So true- the beauty seen in nature inspires worship of God, who created it all. And prayer is simply talking to God.

Hello Jake, I must say I agree with you, Noirin's music has affected me in similar ways. I was very ill for about 5 years from 1998 onward, often in alot of pain and discomfort. I spent many nights lonely, sleepless and suffering, but I was fortunate to have been introduced to her music just before I became ill. Often her music, particularly Vox de Nube, was the only thing keeping me going.

I had the pleasure of meeting Noirin several times during the 1990's. She really affected for the good me with her spiritual attitude. I still listen to her music (and to the monks of Glenstal) to this day and love just it as much. May God bless them in their work.

When I was a music reviewer, I interviewed Maire Brennan and was delighted with her truthfulness and down to earth nature. Enya? Forget it. Even though I was with Barnes and Noble at the time the closest her "handlers" would let us get was to submit a few questions in writing, and she would respond via FAX. Gee, and then I think Enya's new album contained just a handful of songs. I'll take Brennan any day, thanks very much. ;-)
