  I've got a 98 blazer that sounds the exact same. Had it for over 2 years does it for a week at a time or so then stops for a while. Never had any problems until recently it wanted to die on the highway

  Exactly what my Silverado does, Ben like that for a whole year now, I think it sounds cool. But problems won’t be when it goes out.

  If your filter is not plugged and gas tank not very low on fuel then try adding 8 ounces of 2-cycle oil to a full gas tank. It will help lubricate the pump! Remember the fuel lubricates the fuel pump! If you run your gas tank dry your pump will burn up!

  Thanks, I will try that too. I have been using Lucas fuel treatment. Each time I add it it seems to quiet it down. But after a few tanks of gas, the whine returns. I have also started having trouble with the gas gauge, I think I am on borrowed time with this fuel pump, but it still has not given up on me. @jonathan8995, I still have not replaced the fuel pump.

  Be sure your alternator is putting out at least 13-14 volts! Have your battery checked at auto parts store! They can do a load test with their portable equipment on battery and alternator!

  @@milehighjc My 03 ranger been doing this for over 8 years, finally got louder and was not cranking right away. Then got the ol engine light. Fuel pump time. I will say it never gave me full power on the gas was always low fuel pressure, must be a manufacture defect.

  Pretty sure it is the fuel pump, put some Lucas injector cleaner in the tank, and at least minimized the noise. So far, no further symptoms, and the truck has been running well.

  After you replaced the fuel pump, did it stop making that noise? If so, did it come back? Mine is doing the same thing and has been for about 2 years!! (seems like it does it more on hot days). I don't know if it is going bad or not, I originally thought it was when it first started, but its lasted so long since then.

  It was my second time seeing him - last time was in early 80's in New York. I would have loved to see his set at least half again as long. Would have loved to hear Alices Restaurant. He is a fantastic entertainer, musically talented, and funny as well.

  My first time seeing Arlo. What a pleasure!!! Thought Steve Martin and SCR and Emmy Lou were terrific as well, but could have listened to Arlo for hours and hours.

  Glad you enjoyed it... Its actually Union Reservoir just east of Longmont. I flew from the LEAF (Longmont Electric Aircraft Flyers) field there. RE: the Satriani, he has some pretty dang good flying music - I can almost pull ANYTHING, and it will go with a flying video well. If you come up, drop me a line at RCGroups MileHighJC.

  @Neutography From what Ive read, you cant really go wrong with any of the 3DHS planes. This SHP exceeded my expectations on pretty much every level. Im hoping the wind calms down a bit this evening so I can get out for flight #3!

  Awesome next step! the plane looks pretty stable!, i have to admit you have me looking at 3DHS planes...I'm really starting to like the 41" edge. The latest additions to my hangar are the E-flite Rhapsody & an E-flite Ultimate 20-300 Bipe.
