The first blast at 0:20 consisted of the following sirens: Thunderbolt 1000T at Central Ave and Webb Rd- 1 mile away 2001-SRN at 13th St and Rock Rd- 1.1 miles away Thunderbolt 1000 at Kellogg and Rock Rd- 1.1 miles away Thunderbolt 1000 at Central Ave and Edgemoor St- 1.5 miles away The second clip recorded at the Davis-Moore car dealership at 2:25 seems to consist of: Thunderbolt 1000T at Greenwich Rd and Waterman St- 0.6 miles away Thunderbolt 1000 at Kellogg Drive and Rock Rd- 1.5 miles

I have this same model, minus the piezo, same colour with Johns signature on the head too. I took it to London years ago and got John to sign the front above the strings with a silver felt pen, the signatures faded bad now. Funny that! I wonder how you came up in my feed?

Use pine rossin then you dont need to clean m8 its natural

I prefer not to use rosin with my de-soldering gun. I will add a leaded solder first before de-soldering.

Add little “dead cat” wind covers on the mic ports. Super cheap and improves quality like you paid a professional a ton of money to clean it up in post-production. 🙂

Weird! I’ve tested the three min timer on both a Red Baton 2 and 5th anniversary Baton 3. Turning the light on, letting the timer shut it off and then turning it back on they were both back to normal mode and stay on after 3 mins. I also turned on the baton 3, put it into 3 min timer mode, let it go for a minute, shut it off, turned it back on and it ran for 3.5 mins after that without turning itself off.

6:01 Use a small part of a clear adhesive tape and simply cover the port with this. That's what I do with my sidekick after I've lost too many silicone plug covers. It's simple, cheap and durable. Greetings from Germany !
