So an unknown cop tell Marie Tippit a story, then she tells her father-in-law, and neither speak of it again for almost 40 years?!.. Marie never speaks about again, ever, and Emmit Tippit is 90 years old and suffering from dementia when he finally tells McBride?.. Then McBride goes about confirming this story by looking for an auto accident, and finds one!.. But he doesn’t know the participants of that accident, which is OK because we never learned the cop’s name either!.. lolol.. Why do y’all listen to these guys?.. Trust me, the guy who discarded his jacket, hid from cops near a shoe store, snuck into a theatre, and tried to commit suicide by cop was the killer of Officer Tippit, OK?.. lol.. Without question.. And this guy cannot think his way out of a paper bag..

The great Ben Burtt as well. Star Wars would not have been anything without either of them.

There's a lot of movies today could do with Marcia talent on them including Disney star wars

Clips from the Star Wars Special Edition which she had nothing to do with. Kind of disappointing. I'm assuming Lucasfilm only allows clips to be shown of the redone version. Suppression of the original for nearly 40 years has had a negative effect. Would it kill them to release the film the same as it was shown in 1977.

Yes, they showed the Special Edition because that is THE MOVIE. There are no two editions. Its just THE MOVIE. Besides, there were ZERO changes in the trench run, and the amount of frames between the added Biggs scene and the end credits is exactly the same as the earlier version.

Love this but phew, 4mins of introductions. Also who did the mixing of the music versus dialogue? It's tough being an editor of 15 years and looking for a job, then I see this kind of work being done.

Instead of asking those obviously leading questions regarding her gender, I would've asked her more about her childhood, parents and family life, and what influence the 'culture' at the time had on her, because it is seems that Marcia didn't spend her time thinking of herself as oppressed. She was too busy having fun and 'doing it'. How did she get so ..... "full of beans" ? What a lovely charismatic incredibly talented firebrand. I'm so glad her story is finally coming out. It may knock George down a peg, but it really doesn't diminish his obvious greatness. I think her story humanizes him in a way that is important. What ADVENTURERS they ALL were back then !

When I hear the triumphant orchestral theme , to this day I get chills up my spine and become that ten year old boy again, who's life was changed a long time ago, in a theater far, far away...

First saw Tony Bill in 1963 "Come Blow Your Horn". I was 13 year's old. When I saw him on the screen said to myself "I'm going to marry someone who looks like that. In 1974 I did!
