Bonjour to all! My name is Violette and I am a makeup artist and Founder of VIOLETTE_FR - my very own beauty brand! Over the course of my 17-year career as a makeup artist I’ve been able to collaborate with renowned photographers I always dreamed of working with, as well as magazines like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and W Magazine. I was the International Makeup Designer for Dior and worked on product development for Sephora. Later, I became the Global Beauty Director for Estée Lauder. It was in the middle of all of this, in 2016, when I decided to launch my KZread channel. I wanted to create a space that encouraged you to have fun with makeup, laugh at yourself, seduce yourself, and most importantly, believe with all of your heart in your own 'je ne sais quoi'. I hope you will always find that here.
And don’t worry - I may have my own beauty brand now, but I’ll still be playing with a diverse array of products because no one in the world uses just 1 brand!

I love the shade . It fits my type really beautifully. But the major downside it’s so complicated to apply,with all the smudges and corrections makes me wanna not to use it all. We are all in rush and don’t really have time to spend long time to do whole make up… I know Violette is professional and seems easy to apply it within seconds, but not for most of us I think.

It was the most beautiful red lipstick shade I’ve ever tried on. Love the inspo so much… just so sad it transfers like crazy and I never got to use it more than 3x :( I hope you adjust the formula someday because I would love to have this shade usable in my collection

@@zombiecow1909 like the product in the tube or on my lips when using? It was pretty drying on the lips, the times I used it I remember it leaving my lips chapped compared to my usual Fenty. I have upped my lip care/prep since then, tho! That was prob like 3 years ago so the product/tube is likely not good now. Too drying, too much transfer, not long wearing enough for me to use it. But the shade is so unique. I’ve yet to find something else like it
@csdsa Thank-you for the information! I was wondering if it dries out in the tube as I see it sells out, but only want it for a special occasion with a few practice wears prior to, lol... I prep my lips with a touch of aquaphor and products never dry them out. Happy make up to you 😊

I stopped using it because it basically contains of dimethicone (this silicone on the first place). And it is not safe neither for human lips nor for the planet. Though it is written on the website that it is safe, no it is not. American FDA allows a lot of ingredients that are not allowed anywhere else...
Love bisou balm but the packaging makes me not want to repurchase. The caps always fall off and lipstick is melted everywhere in my purse. Great formula but the packaging needs improvement please!!! 🙏🏼 ❤
I use a little patch of scotch tape, it is invisible and makes the tube thicker so nothing goes off

This balm is too dye for! The feel/pigment and scent (please make this scent in a fragrance balm in a stunning ,heavy artistic compact 🤤. I’m on my third tube of amour fou. The new warm red looks gorgeous. Can’t wait to see if you develop a brownish red dead rose leaf for winter. Something for a Canadian winter lol
