It was a trip mom always wanted to take us on. The short trip from Vegas was a great way to see the canyon. Now to plan a trip to really do the canyon.

@@thomasbirch5096 Thankfully we had a cooler winter so the swampy areas are still a bit cool and giving us a small window. The yellow flies are out in force now. Hitting the woods this week above Richmond VA, my mother has a huge herd of deer and a black bear living on her land. We shall see how the woods are there. Hoping for the best.

It was the same with the neighborhood I move to. I planted this tree 18 years ago. The Arbor Day foundation will ship free saplings that are native to your area to plant.(I think it was just a min. shipping fee if you live in the United States) This was one of the braches/ sapling that I planted from them. Also the forest department gives out sapling every year in my area.
