Zrovna jsem ji koupil tak cekam kdy prijde👍
It's a great system. So good luck using it!
Americans are unworthy of these fine machines, that is why Kubota says F you Americans you are not getting these.
Thank you for introducing this video! 40 people came to watch it through this video!!
Thank you and very glad that these people were motivated by this.
I wouldn't trade my ms261cm for anything! Period! It's that good.
Agree, my favourite as well.
I love the front PTO. Is it driven by a mid-mount PTO? My Branson has a mid-mount PTO and I am thinking of adaptations to add the front PTO. It is not available in USA for Branson just for the Green tractor.
The front PTO is driven straight from the engine and has a separate switch from the rear and mid-PTO. The front PTO and 3P is a separate option that you can put on this machine. In this video you can find more information on this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/q3iHo6aJddiqlrw.html.
You've created such a beutiful space. I love your Rhino and the flail mower. My next equipment purchase will be a flail mower. Seems to be a great compromise between a finish mower and a rotary cutter. Just a thought: Would be really sweet if it had a "thumb" on the Rhino to grab the stumps.
Thanks! The flail mower is indeed a very nice mower. I use both the finish mower and flail mower for the maintenance. The flail mower at the front is very nice to push under low hanging branches and to prevent damage of the tractor from driving over sticks or branches rebounding upwards while driving over it. Nice thinking about the thumb on the Rhino!
Kubota does not offer B2261 in the USA, We are not good enough to be able to buy such a machine!
I see a lot of US and Canada videos about Kubota Compact Tractors that are more or less the same, but a different type indication is used.
@@OutdoorsintheLowCountries No I tried to purchase a 2261. for a specific job I have. They are not available in the USA at all.
@@troyb.4101 What is so specific about the European model B2261 that you can't find on the US comparable models?
@@OutdoorsintheLowCountries The forward PTO unit! That fail mower unit would be great in the South west USA for Mesquite trees which have three inch thorns that look like too picks.
@@troyb.4101 I can fully imagine indeed that a front flail mower is strongly preferred for that type of work.
Is it for sale?
No sorry, but a local blacksmith in your neighbourhood should be able to make you one using a bobcat interface plate as shown in the video.
The Germans invented these caps to get their own back for losing the war😂
aviable india
Don't know if it's available in India.
What do u think of the 400M magnesium piston and oiling a 20 - 25 inch bar ??? I thank you in advance Gunter Kindly one more question 400M or 362 ?
The magnesium piston does give some interesting advantages because of its lower weight and higher power and acceleration. I don't expect an issue for oiling a 20-25 inch bar with this saw. If I needed to choose between the 400M or 362 I think I would go for the 400M.
Very informative video!
Thanks David! Very good to read that you like it.
I think I’d just dull a chainsaw blade. Huge win over a big stump.
That's also an interesting alternative.
Good job, thanks, you`ve solved my problem and have a new subscriber. Good luck!
Glad you like it and thanks for the subscription!
Good review
Thanks!
Nice video, I have a plate with extensions to add a ripper. Possibly tomorrow. I have a small shovel implement configured now.
Succes with your version of the ripper.
Hi Is the specs/ size of the b2261 same as the b2601 in america or is the b2261 a bigger tractor? Thanks
The European B2261 has a 1261 cc engine, the same as the 2650 has. The B2601 has a smaller 1123 cc engine.
Thanks for the info. Considering buying the B2261 in south africa with front loader.
@@qualityfun8304 That's a very good choice! You will find several examples of what you can do using that combination on my channel.
@@OutdoorsintheLowCountries thanks
Brilliant video great product
Thanks and glad you like it!
Excellent video, was eyeing one of these stihils as my FS94 is struggling round the farm these days! Very informative and clear! Out of curiosity, who makes that safety helmet. didn't quite catch it when you said in the video?
Thanks for the compliments and very glad that you like it. The safety helmet is from 3M / Peltor. In this video I explain why I have chosen this helmet (above Stihl) and how it works: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mH5tw7eRY6S4lM4.html
One of the most useful and clear explanation I have seen. Very Informative. Thank You.
Thanks and glad you like it!
I've heard fishing line up high across your property will deter them and that they won't fly below it.I've got that started on my property with a bunch of cds too. But I also have a large extension ladder so it helps. Stupid hawk lives in a tree within sight of my coop.
He's not that stupid then. Free chickens at the neighbour. ;-) I have the same problem. A few days ago the hawk pulled out the bars of my smaller coop and took out a chicken. These birds are strong! In this video (kzread.info/dash/bejne/q3V2x86fc7vLdKyt.html) it wasn't successful, but now it was. I have now created steel brackets to reinforce the bars to prevent the hawk from pulling them out.
This just happened to one of our chickens as well! 😥 Found her without head in the morning 😲 not even blood anywhere 😲 What worked against the marten for you? The electric fence solution?
In the mean time I have lost several chickens on martens in that coop. The only thing that protects them is the coop with these small bars like you see in this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/q3V2x86fc7vLdKw.html. But a few days ago a hawk pulled out the bars and took a chicken. So now I reinforced it by steel brackets that prevents the bars from being pulled out. The story never ends.... My plan is to create a much larger coop using mesh panels instead of chicken wire type of closing. But that is quite a large project.
@@OutdoorsintheLowCountries Thank you for your reply and the tips! 🙂 Yes, we gotta keep outsmarting these creatures 🙂 We have lived in our house for 30 years now, and have never had an issue with a predator, up until this marten. 😲 We only had a hedgehog 🦔family take shelter in the chicken coop 🙂 that was rather sweet, we let them stay, then they left on their own after a while.
@@tayori3ryokou Same story on this side. I'm having chickens all my life from very young age. Never had any problems with predators. Only the last few years this has changed. First the foxes came along; but a fox is quite easy to keep out. Then wild cats; a little bit harder but also relatively easy to keep them out. Next the hawks and other birds of prey; quite difficult to keep them out because you need to create a top side protection. The result was a strong decrease of chicken coop from 30 x 30 m to 3 x 3 m. Then the martens: normal sized wire fence they still can get through. Thus the mesh should be very small. So the chicken coop has now reduced further to 2 x 0.6 m, which was originally meant for protecting the very small chicks against crows etc. And even there they weren't safe since a hawk pulled out the metal mesh from the wooden frame, so I reinforced all meshes with strong steel brackets. So my plan is now to build a chicken coop from strong steel mesh panels with relatively small mesh widths. Not sure yet when this project will start though, since many other projects are still running as well. 🙂
Had a 261 for a long time, and recently got a 026 as well. In some ways I like the 026 better. It is, in my opinion, much simpler to tinker with, and I really like having an adjustable carb. The 261 is great, but parts are much more expensive for it. 026 parts are very affordable. I don't worry much about cutting speed since I don't do professional logging any more.
Great that you love your 026. I also still love mine as well. It still is a great little saw!
Nice Kubota!
Thanks! 😊
Very helpful. Thank you. Question: I looked up the banana connectors you suggested and noted they were rated to 35 amps only. Would that be ok for the machine than can output 50 amps?
Thanks. The red wire with banana connector is only for starting up the plasma proces. Also the red wire is way too thin for this high amount of current. The main current will be between the two electrodes via the main cables.
Thx. Confused a wee bit here. If I set the machine for 40 amps and connect the red wire to the ground in the machine as you suggest why isnt the 40 amps passing thru the circuit to the torch tip immediately and burning thru the red wire. What is resisting this surge in amperage?
The main cables are designed for the high current. The red thin wire clearly not. The simple ring interface connection of the red wire does not indicate a complex interface at system side. So I expect a high electrical resistance as protection of the red wire circuit in the electronics design of the holder. This will limit the current in the red wire circuit during startup as well as during the process. Since I haven't noticed any cable heating in the red wire during long time operation, I expect this leakage power to be very small.
I found your video extremely thorough and helpful and as others have already said, a really nice job on the editing too 👋👋👋
Thanks for the compliments. And glad you like it.
😊
I purchased a Husky 550xp mark II and that thing is a beast. It eats up the wood and spits it out!
Good that you like your Husky. I'm sure it is also a great saw.
great video, thank you!!
Thanks!
Nice job and presentation- thank you. Just an idea, to weld / bolt expanded steel in open areas to protect your grill and engine hood. Still could see through, but a little more piece of mind (Or a grill guard).
Thanks. I have the original grill guard, but it doesn't fit because of the front 3P hitch. It is still on my 'to do' list to create an adapted version (see kzread.info/dash/bejne/qYyawbSdorHeaNo.html).
Hi, good video , thanks for your effort. Can you write down the things that stilh fs 461 trimmer box includes ?
All the things shown in the video are originally of the FS461. The only item I bought as extra is the thicker Trim Line.
Great execution. I just ordered a QA plate and have some AR400 3/4" at the shooting range. I'll be tackling this in the next few days. I have a stump bucket but the tractor don't have the balls to move all that dirt and carve out roots, so it's just not very efficient. Will keep you posted. All the best.
Thanks! AR400 3/4" will be a very good candidate for creating a Rhino Ripper. Please let me know if you have the same positive experience as I have. Use both the front loader upward force and the wheel traction in 4WD to rip roots. Good luck!
Have you given any thought about getting a helical or spiral blade head for the D27300 ? Do you have any information on whether it is possible ? Thanks for the video and any input ! Regards
I do see suppliers on the internet for a spiral blade for the D27300, but I haven't thought about buying it. I'm interested in the smoothness that is achieved with these 44 carbide inserts. See: www.sheartak.com/spiral-cutterhead-dewalt-d27300-planer-thicknesser.
Nice setup. How well does the mower articulate on the front, let's say if you approach a steep hill? I have a lot of steep banks I would like to mow with the exact same setup. Cheers from Australia
If you approach a steep hill from the front I don't expect any issue. The wheelbase of the flail mower is rather short: distance from the front wheels to the rotating cylinder at the back of the mower is small compared to a rotary mower deck. This flail mower is therefore less sensitive for bumpy terrain in forward direction. Transverse will depend on the width of the device and I expect not a lot of difference compared to other decks.
Always great videos!
Glad you think so!
Great job . well explained. Peruzzo also offers of rear mounted flail collector which allows to cut/verticut and collect in one pass, thus to avoid hand collecting :-)
Yes they do indeed. Thanks!
GREAT JOB!!!!
Thanks, glad you like it!
Awesome video on the S9. Got the same setup but with a 36" table. What I have noticed is that the dust extraction on the tablesaw is kind of horrible if not using the guard. There are however a few videos out there on how to fix that! Thanks for posting this.
Thanks! Which guard do you mean?
@@OutdoorsintheLowCountriesThe orca s17, what I meant was the extraction from the table saw itself.
Pretty comprehensive video, thanks for doing such a great job! I'm in the process of buying a property that will need a lot of materials moved, and am researching what I should buy, so wondered how the specs should be interpreted, this video helps a great deal, thanks again👍
Thanks, good to hear that it helps.
Regarding the 261, I don't seem to be getting enough bar oil out (one week old saw), I have tried the adjustment with no difference noted. What bar oil, weight wise, do you reccomend?
I use standard chain oil ISO 100. Is your filter in your oil tank perhaps clogged?
@@OutdoorsintheLowCountries Filter is good, saw has about 15 hours on it, with the bar oil setting on manual and not the automatic position the saw pumps oil quite well, so ill just leave it in the manual mode. Thankyou for your previous response.
@@user-pg5mn2vk3j Thanks for letting know that this solves your oil issue. I will also check my saw on this.
Very well done video. Please comment on how to prevent debris falling into oil and fuel with the tooless caps. Anyone make a conversion to a better type of cap like the 026?
I haven't experienced a significant difference in debris falling into oil and fuel tank between the new and old caps. For both caps you have to pay attention on this during and after opening. The filling can you can see me using in the videos with the automatic shutters is really helpful to prevent this as well.
What model Kubota is that please?
As mentioned in the description: Kubota B2261 4WD HST (26 hp). This is a European model.
Goedemorgen, great video and very happy to subscribe !
Thanks a lot!
Can anyone help, please? The Ms261-c ( "18 Light 04 bar) states a 4.8mm file... But, when sharpening, I'm finding that the aforementioned file barely fits in the gullet? Seems too tight and awkward to sharpen, but it states it's the correct file? Any advice, please? From "England'istan".
I know what you mean. I also had this experience first time sharpening this chain. But the chain clearly shows nr 2 marking so I used my Stihl file holder (as shown in the video at 2:33) with the 4.8mm file and filed it. The chain still runs very fine, no worries.
4.8 is the right file for original chain. i think you need to use a holder-file, for better work. That all.
Sir, what about the Mtronic on those saws how reliable is that technology? I don't want to spent my time in a Stihl repair shop all the time since they have very expensive hourly charges ? Please advise, thank you in advance Gunter
@@gunterbecker8528 i think 4 YO ( and maybe more) are reliable. With 3.0 mtronic, with white solenoid. Light and reliable. but echo & husky are equals to sthil, same quality when you pick up pro-grade saws.
Is this front hitch available in the U.S.?
Based on comments from others it seems not to be the case.
@@OutdoorsintheLowCountries that’s to bad, I’d love to be able to mount a flail mower out front.
@@briananderson6758 I do understand fully. Somebody from the US did make a comment some time ago on one of my videos that he wanted to order the front hitch and PTO from either Kubota Europe or Zuidberg since he also wanted this. I don't know if he actually carried this out.
Excellent comparison.
Thanks!

Check your local dealer. Prices are strongly dependent on the region you live in.
Great comparison.

The Dewalt DW735 has got a blower built in to push the chips out and I've seen people just hook the outlet up to a collection bag without an added suction collector, has this machine got a blower fitted also if you were to use it without a collector?
The Dewalt D27300 does not have a chip ejection fan like the DW735 has. In the manual of the D27300 it is stated: 'Provided with a suitable dust extraction device, 90% of the produced shaving can be caught if the air flow is at least 20 m/s'. So it is clearly meant to have a proper dust collector system mounted to the 100m dust extraction port.
