Accredited mental health training from the Association for Psychological Therapies (APT).

Since 1981 APT's aim has been simple: to provide the most exciting, relevant and applicable professional development in mental health and related fields. Today APT provides well over 10,000 participant-days education every year.

Delegates on APT mental health training courses typically comprise: psychiatric nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists and others. Working in a variety of settings including; Adult Mental Health, Children and Adolescents, Older People, Learning Disability, Brain Injury, Forensic and Substance Misuse.

    Good presentation, thank you. As an older man interested in Clinical Psychology, it's heartwarming to see that men are still interested in intellectual pursuits in a female-dominated university system. I was unaware how straight-forward case formulation can be, and learned quite a bit.

    Thanks for this, very useful. Do you have any references for the 6 P's case formulation, as I'm struggling to find it in the literature. I've found examples of it being applied, but no references for its origins.

    I agree, I see the 4 ps everywhere, but the 6 ps are so wholistic I prefer them. I might make a little clinical template to use them regularly

    Thanks so much for such an informative video. I am a provisional psychologist in Australia and was hunting for some tips on which questions to ask on intake and which questions would best help to complete a case formulation (yes I watched that video too :) I really like how Dr William Davies explains things, thanks!
